Ah, so that's how you guys do these xdr animation mods.

What I did was on every Mixamo animation, I put 1 frame of T-pose at the front, then I import the survivor's smd into blender together with the mixamo animation with the T-Pose.
Since the Survivors are standing in an A-Pose, I have to rotate the bones of the T-Pose to match it closely
Lastly, I use Rokoko Live Studio Blender addon to make one skeleton mimic the other's movements. and also remove the first frame of A pose, and export the smd

I would like to see how you made the mixamo animations to l4d2 cause I'm actually curious.

Addons that make you ragdoll on death do indeed disable death animations.

Well I use a Super Mario Characters Infected Pack for zombies so I wonder if the male and female infected could run and jump like Mario?

I think those mods would probably disable the death animation and go straight to ragdoll.
For requests, depends. Do you have the animation file or motion capture? Or need to animate by hand? Because the most I ever did in 3D animation was a simple walk cycle, so I might not be the right person
