This Npc called the elite super synth soldier right here where you are seeing was used in the seven hour war, that time combine soldiers didn't invade earth, they used elite synths that's why this was in the beta.

Little did you not know (If you haven't read the desc) this combine overwatch NPC was from a beta edition of half life 2.
and this was removed from the original half life 2.

It's a shame you can't make one where it uses the guns built into the hands. There's only one like that in the workshop and its part of a very lackluster pack modelwise.

If you can extract the files and manage to not screw up renaming them. They will work in place of the Combine Elite in Half Life 2 and the Episodes.
