I'm not sure why this mod would be incompatible with double unit sizes since this mod doesn't touch main unit tables. This mod also doesn't touch anything related to animations so that's strange as well. Perhaps a lot has changed on the main mod.. I'll have to update this mod properly once the major update is released on mk1212

Stronger & Armored Janissaries is not compatible with double unit sizes unfortunately nor is this mod compatible with animation mods, if there can be a cross integration of all four that would be great

as far as I know this mod is better than Bran's so this is a must have but if you can integrate this mod into your mod that would be based

just installed it but idk it freezes for 2-5 seconds and then and then right after few seconds it does it again. I mean its stuttering idk what to do. all the Loading Order is correct

also does your version of this mod add like tons of deployables in battles namely sieges cause I noticed I had way too much to do with but I also use Bran's Less aggressive CAI mod so wondering if its that mod that causes you to have an insane amount of deployables as defender?

He has notified me of it. An update will be released soon. Worry not, it's nothing serious. All games will be savegame compatible and you won't notice a serious difference.

heart attacks cannot be avoided unless matched combat is increased. unfortunately if matched combat is increased then combat gameplay wise becomes horrible.

I can not just improve morale flat because that would be very difficult to update. However I can reduce morale penalties and allow units to come back from routing. Then again playing without this mod would provide roughly that kind of experience anyways.

sohh i play with yours und earls missile overhaule is it from him that arrows are so op, crushing after 2 volleys a shield formation thats hard. I gues your battle mod is compatible with it right?

with behind my infantery i mean, safe so they don't have to move. i give order to shoot at units in the open and other archers. in this scenario they do so little damage watching them is annoying because they fire so slow.

Behind infantry they cannot shoot much due to friendly fire disabling most of their units. Usually you have to move them out of the way due to how projectile trajectory is handled in attila. You can get basic infantry archers to kill a fully armored cataphract with their volleys still.

how are arccher OP? they do very little in my battles, i keep them behind my infantry and let them shoot all the time, but at the end they only have around 48 kills and range is also abysmall.

Updated morale penalties to be more severe across the board, decrease army destruction penalties. The death of a general is a more severe blow. Keeping elite units with morale boosts now matter quite a bit. Missiles are still quite strong but is checked by increase missile resistance and block chance. Now you can't win battles just by camping a fort with archers.

AI composition is very tricky to balance. I'm not touching that just yet, but I agree it's flawed. The AI also very often hires only levies..

I think the AI puts way too many missile units in their armies. In campaign I just get good Cav and charge all their back lines and win every time

I am in fact looking for people who want to mod the AI with me. If you have remotely any experience messing with packfiles feel free to help me out. I do intend to integrate AI changes into this mod as I think the biggest issue with MK1212 is the bad AI.

Hello Chrissant do you happen to work on AI to ? I saw mods for Attila vanilla where they improve ai by increasing spotting distance There is a mod caled XBAI and Advanced AI. I am thinking of course if you want to try to increase spotting distance in some test to see if the ai behaves differently. Currently there is not a single ai mod for 1212 addressing this issue...

The buff to missile resistance is going to help a bit, but missiles will still be strong. Ranged units at least can't fire at an arc like they used to, which should be a big nerf to their utility. This should bring back longbows and crossbows to the table as viable support units.

Missile resistance buffed across the board to compensate for recent changes. Ranged units will have a harder time killing highly armored units.

I didn't realize so many people used this mod. The mod was updated, however all changes to ranged weapons have been removed and will be vanilla for now. I realized that ranged weapons were too weak or too op in several playthroughs.
