I don't use Weaponcore, I find it to be too mod intensive for my play-style so my mods are not compatible with it. You are welcome to make an adaptation with this for Weaponcore.

Will this ever have a weaponcore competable wersion? becaus it fits so well into the game and ı also like the additional encounters it makes us face.

This mod is so well done. It feels so natural for space warfare and its well balanced.

Every ship I make, i have a 'Vanilla version, then an 'elite' version with these added weapons. I like to play on vanilla servers... but this is a MUST have on custom servers.

I had intended to upgrade the railguns, just have not had the time. Most likely after the next big DLC drops that motivates me to keep playing.

My experience with weapon core forced me to mod weapon core in order to make it enjoyable to me. Too much work especially with endless $5 keen updates. Some mods fit your play style, some don't.

Is there a version of this without npcs, or would it be premisable to make a version with out npcs. I would like to test and possibly use a version with out npcs for enhancing other npcs or scenarios on my private server.

Not to worried about that as i have a full cleanup in my essentials file for torch. We grew tired of weaponcore as armor was paper mache to it with out shields. And shields favor specifically shaped grids. With a custom armor resistance mod and your weapons, we can enjoy building our ships and fighting npcs in style. With mes, if i turn on randomize weapons, and use random weapons full range would npcs not of your making be able to then utilize the ranges of these?

Keep in mind that if you alter the range of civilian ships, they will start shooting each other and you will get busted grids piled up around stations. I notice it when Escorts pop in around civies also.

Correct - unless you edit the prefab weapon range blocks which this mod already does for many of the military type vanilla ships. It will also work with or without MES. MES has an extension that adds modded weapons. It will add these weapons, but I don't know about the ranges it uses or if it's configurable.

The Raider Corvette has a fun weakness that will make you want to send fighter runs against it, but it will spawn additional drones as you get closer. If you can land a missile strike just right between the back armor plates, you can hit the hydrogen tank and set off a nice little chain reaction.

@Syphond The Raider Corvette jumps in and stalks your position for a long time with a randomized thruster burn and turn that can send it right at you or off radar only to pop back in later. It has auto and assault cannons with the improved ranges.

The Raider Gunships are pretty nasty and I don't even put this mod in until I have a decent armed base. The antenna won't be seen until 5km and at 4.5km they are already firing on you with their assault cannons. Up to 3 can appear at once, plus each gunship variation has datapads hidden in the bunks with a little connected story.

Npcs didn't seem to be able to take advantage of the increased targeting range, making them basically fish in a barrel.

I did notice that you can't see any shells or missiles after about 4-5km, but they are still hitting and doing damage. Turn Arcade sound on and you can hear them.

It's working just fine for me. My Weapon Platform AI are targeting pirate corvettes out to 10km.
