If that's what my friend did using a different method. He needs to spend a skill point for each talent. And accordingly, your mod may also be relevant. It may also be relevant for the fashion for the old talent tree.

0.20 talent rework removed the "unlock tree" functionality, but you added `CharacterAbilityGiveTalentPoints` and many others. Also the different tiers of talent allows "MaxChosenTalents" and "RequiredTalents". So with talent tree with max chosen=<number of same tier>, and the last level talent giving extra talent points, one can still unlock most of the talents easily.

@sasukechan @svx-8 I'm currently working on endocrine redux mod that allows to get all perks from vanilla classes, i reckon its not too hard to include all of those custom classes either. If you're interested we can have a chat to discuss further posibilities

Took my mod down for now. So far the only way I can think of to recreate it is to use the code from endocrine booster but I'm too lazy for that at this time.

That is... not good. I cannot really go into the game files and fix that, sadly. Best I can do is recommend not using endocrine boosters before adding the mod, but that is not much of a solution to the issue. I genuinely have no idea what causes this.

There's a bug that if you use endocrine boosters on a character before using this mod it makes the character not be able to use their talent points ( you cant click reset or apply )

I suggest renaming it to "All Talents Unlockable" since the current name is sort of misleading
I have been asked 3 times about this mod (since it's in my campaign modpack) and had to explain that it DOESN'T unlock all talents.

I believe it was answered before, but just in case, I will answer again.
It kind of is retroactive, but instead of unlocking all the stuff you would normally get, it just unlocks the other perks to buy them manually. That is, you will need more perk points to buy them one by one.

Hello, just a quick question. I've been playing with the mod for a while now and i've noticed that it works fine on most trees but not on others. Example would be Soldier from Security Officer and Gunslinger from Captain. Is it a load order thing or are they both excluded?

@OverLorD There is a similar console command, specifically for adding more experience points. It is marked as a cheat, but you are probably aware of that.
The command is:

"giveexperience [amount] [character name]"

Remove quotation marks, the " " symbols at the beginning and the end, and type in the specified information in the square brackets, so instead of typing something like [1] just type 1 to get what you need. Hope that helps.

@SquidNeko Yes, Talent Sub-trees are a vanilla thing. For example, the Captain has the sub-trees Gunslinger, Skipper and Shipmaster. If you wish to check for sure, you can visit the wiki, it has all of them listed. All classes have 3 separate sub-trees.

That would require coding knowledge I do not have. This mod is incredibly simple, due to the fact that the Engineer class already has one skill tree with the "Unlock all perks" modifier in vanilla game. All I did was just copy that to all the other classes.

Okay, thanks. I figured it'd be fine. I actually was intending to try and mix this with All the Talent Trees so that every talent is completely unlocked. The other one just simply allows access to the other talent trees and this one just adds the sub-tree unlocking thing so the should work fine together.

I played recently with it, and it worked fine. The newest update did not change anything Talent-related, so it's all good.
Though you can still make a save backup, as is always recommended when adding mods mid-game.

Nevermind, decided to test it, and it's quite interesting. Disregard my prior comment.
It works fine when added mid-game, the Tier 4 talents gain the unlocking feature, but those that are already Tier 4 when the mod is added, instead of working immediately... just make those missed talents selectable.
For example, Gunslinger tree for the Captain - Unlock the whole tree up until Bounty Hunter, let's say your picks caused Quickdraw and Drunken Sailor to be locked. When the mod is added, those two become selectable, but they will cost two perk points, as you simply buy them.

I think it would be fine to add, but I did not test it. By logic, I'd say only if you did not get to Tier 4 talents yet, because if you did, there is a chance it will not work on that unlocked subtree.

It is indeed working. Sorry, I had reported issue on another mod doing same thing and when I checked this one to see if it had same problem I had same issue, but the cause was load order and not restarting the client. Apparently the client needs to be refreshed for the ui to update and mod to actually be applied. TY for the mod!

no longer works for talent trees that were modified with recent update to game. ie: gunslinger for captain and most other talent trees for the other professions. tested with new game and giveexperience 1000000
