this gives errors even with hl2 ep2 mounted, just use this guys like 90 other good zs maps

Sorry, not sure what to tell ya, im guessing it was done wrong most likely, I havent had others who test give any complaints afaik. With new HL2 anniversay update it might have changed how it works now, or you maybe need to change to older version for it to work, I am kinda unsure now.

It uses Half-Life 2 Episode 2 textures and models.

It also is sandbox, just open it in sandbox mode when you start the map.

If you dont have Half-Life 2 Ep2 installed, you will get missing textures.

After reading you and reading my comment again i feel kinda bad, i shouldn't use my economic issues to complain about things that way, im sure that map looks good, i just cant use it.

Maps that need external textures suck, you might be a USA guy with a good pc and money, im from LATAM, the "just buy the game" doesnt work here.

Dont know what to tell you then, something must be broken on your end. Probably some addon(s) you have installed or something. Double check maybe?

You need Half-Life 2 Ep2 to be installed, and mounted to gmod, otherwise you will get missing textures and models.

@Ethosaur Actually, I think maybe you can put invisible walls there to prevent players seeing the void (unrendered part) of the model, right?

Sadly an oversight by valve when they made the model, it was never meant to be viewed from the top. Nothing I can do about that really

Minor visual oversight: it's possible to see the void on top of the ship by jumping on the railing.

No, this is all made by me. IT IS however, inspired by Hl2 beta/ep3, and I did re-use the hallway, from the end of hl2 ep2, but I never took anything from Half life 2 beta when making it.

Just got done watching a vid about the Beta yesterday. To hear about the Kraken Base level then stumble upon this later WITH nodes and a navmesh. you will forever have my respect

Idk how, but you've made some of the best maps I've seen. Would've loved to see your Mod come to fruition. Do you have anymore Arctic Half-Life maps?
