In any case, as always I encourage to do a double check in the content manager for all the required items (and sub-requirements) and make sure they're all active. Also some mods (not necessarily required for this map, but in any case) have broken recently and new versions of those mods have been released, so do make sure you're using the up to date versions of all mods to make sure there's not a broken mod trying to load. I hope this helps :)
Prop & Tree Anarchy (use the new Tree Anarchy) and apparently the Custom Animation Loader is broken aswell, which is "required" for the pre-placed railway station. I think you don't actually "need" that mod for the railway station to work, it simply animates some bits of the station. Network Tiling has also been replaced with Network Anarchy.
I noticed you're supposedly a newer player, so understandably this might be a bit confusing if you're just starting to dabble into using mods, but I hope this information helps.
This map was released a little over a year ago, hence there are some broken mods in the collection. Unfortunately I haven't had time to update the collection, I probably should but then again most of old maps' collections are outdated namely because of the so called "mod apocalypse" that came late last year and changed the mod scene pretty heavily.
In other words, when using old maps (any old map), you have to be sort of on top of things as most collections contain outdated items which worked at the time of release but have since become incompatible with the current version of the game.
Firstly, are you using the loading screen mod? If not, definitely subscribe to it, it's an absolutely essential mod for the game. If you're not using it, the loading can take ridiculous amounts of time. I remember some years ago before I got the mod myself, I used to wait for 15-20 minutes for a map to load up. I believe this is the latest, up-to-date version of the mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2858591409&searchtext=loading+screen
Secondly, double check that all the mods and assets are actually active, although missing a mod or an asset should not cause an infinite loading screen, instead you'd probably be experiencing some other issues once the map loads up.
I hope this helps :)
Also, if you want to "skip ahead" or use a fail-safe method, there's always the option of building a highway tunnel underwater. It serves the same purpose as a bridge would, but you can hide it so it won't hurt the aesthetics like a bridge would. I thought about laying out a tunnel as a default on the map, but as I considered the map strongly a modder's map, I figured people who play on it will certainly be able to do it their liking if need be too.
I hope I answered your question adequately
I never looked into actual in game time for how long it takes, but it can be an absurdly long time. I think I ran the map for around 10-20 minutes at maximum sim speed before the train station got any activity. Note that I also mass-built the island at the same time with setting all demands to maximum with a mod to be able to mass build quickly, just so I could test the functionality of the train station as fast as possible, as I think there might be some prerequisites for train activity in terms of the city size / demand levels.
If I were you, I'd do the same testing that I have done, just to double check and test the map out to be 100% sure it will start functioning as intended before then starting an actual build on it on a new save.
Also thank you for the kind words! Really happy to hear you've experimented with various LUTs and themes, as I often encourage people to experiment to find whatever mix they like the best! Have fun with the map :)

I don't think the train station you've placed makes a difference, so I wouldn't worry about that. You could perhaps test it out by saving the game and for just testing purposes, push your population and demands up at max game speed to find out if it really is broken or if it just takes an absurdly long time. I hope this helps! I hope to hear you get the issue figured out.
I'd rather not see you use it. Once I give permission to one person, people will start taking liberties using it (eventually without crediting whatsoever) which I don't want to see. I understand that you'd give me credit and I respect that, truly, but I hope you understand the point I'm making here. :)
@Hax,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the map. I can assure you, the errors and missing assets are not to blame on the map. Double check that you've actually set every required item active in the content manager in-game and make sure you're not using any mods that are incompatible with each other.

You have to use the link to the image only, not the artwork page. So open the artwork into it's own window and take the link from there :)
To upload artwork:
1. Go to your steam profile
2. Click on "Artwork" on the left side of the screen (found along with the options of screenshots, games, etc.)
3. Top right hand corner of your screen, click "Upload artwork".
I'm sure there are some guides on the web as well if you need closer instructions :)
