Is it possible to do a light version of this, i would still like to do diplomacy, this mod kinda rips diplomacy apart. Would be great if nations just had slight more aggresive nature against others and not like a overly hateful attitude, where no diplomacy is possible, btw like your other mods they're great :steamhappy:

Here is an example; I am sieging enemy settlement, balance of power is about even and AI has another army in Constantinople and instead of breaking the siege and attacking with 2nd army, the AI sends it in the ocean to "attack" one of my other settlements. If AI attacks to break the siege with 2nd army the balance of power is greatly in their favor. AI makes dumb moves.

Yes, activated the mod. AI never sallies out of besieged settlement even if balance of power is close, just sits there until every unit dies. AI is way too hesitant to attack your settlements if you have an army in there, they only siege your settlements if there is only a garrison army or if their balance of power is SIGNIFICANTLY greater. When AI sends its armies at you and can't find a weak point of attack it'll just sit there and encamp on land or just sit there in the ocean. The AI doesn't focus its armies together and attack like it should.

Your mods definitely need to be updated or worked on again, barely an improvement over default AI. In their current state they suck, ass.

Thank you for this much improved AI. Also if I may be so bold. Can you add a version that is compatible with 1212ad and realist range 1212ad and the realistic cavalry 1212ad mod. I know it's a lot to ask, especially since I'm just a random person but I would like to use those mods but I ain't dropping an improved AI mod for them. Oh and I can live without brans army composition combo mod, as I would prefer an official version from you anyways.

The only thing that may or may not be caused by your AI is some small bugs. Sometimes I get negatives with other nations for factions that have been long destroyed. For the European nations it is Austria which I completely wiped out turns ago, it started popping up randomly and then went away. Also I had a nation get mad at me for attacking another nation they are at war with. I haven't paid attention to the small negatives until your mod, to check if any new negatives popped up and for the most part they are perfect, besides these super small blips.

Oh yeah for sure, I refuse to use brans. I mentioned this in the combined mod that just uses brans army composition. At least that is what the mod creator has stated and the only reason why I kept with it is because it is supposed to be for 1212ad specifically.

But anyways on what I mentioned in the other one, your AI works fuckin wonders on normal difficulty. The AI behave much much much better. I did use it in the middle of a campaign, so I'm already astronomically stronger then everyone else, but the AI is definitely more aggressive and smarter, since no one is messing with me lol

Anyways, so diplomacy is still really good. My allies are still my allies and others haven't started wars with me, even though they have negative thoughts about me. I think it's my power being much greater that they haven't gone to war with me which is what it should be.

Bran is known for making mods by adding astronomical cheat bonuses to the AI.
Since my update changes a lot about the behavior of the AI, it would be sad not to take advantage of it.
Load my mod before MK1212 and also take another mod which adds cheat bonuses for the AI ​​(for cost, unit maintenance, recruitment capacity etc.)
This type of mod will work with MK1212 (if you load it before too)

How is this mod on normal difficulty? I don't like the bonuses higher difficulties give and your AI seems to be what I'm looking for. But my concern is will they still be diplomatic or just when your at war, they will be more aggressive?

I like the look of this mod. It is somewhat similar to what I modded for MK1212. Have a thought to this..."task management" file. I set all factors to 1. There is no higher priority than 1. Decimal is diminishes importance and any higher than one put it behind anything listed at 1. Simple statistics. 1 presents the most random but human-like reactions. The AI will simply do what it thinks is best. It will come at you hard or back off, depending on many factors. Many times I feel like I am playing another human. Try it. I am open to your thoughts.

I did not increase the declarations of war as I was able to do in Rome 2.

his campaign range is greatly increased, he can travel the whole map in 1 turn. so yes with that he can attack you endlessly.

My mod treats that the intelligence of the AI, it is the most complex and the most meticulous part, it is necessary to find the good calibration to the value close.

Increase AI bonuses anyone can do. And I didn't integrate it into my mod because I believe that a person who just wants to increase and improve the intelligence of the AI ​​will take my mod and on the side will take a mod that will increase the difficulty of the campaign.

i dont want to bash your mod, but beeing into a campaign on the 85th turn, i have to say that your mod cant keep up with bran´s campaign difficulty mod.When you play his creation enemy has plenty of army stacks (saw up to 8) and leaves you barely time to breath.The factions are also very aggressive and expansionistic.
Your mod on the other hand feels to me like the base game.I steam roll the map, enemy has barely armys, the ones he have he uses to defend his city´s.I can pick my enemys, they never declare war on me.Idk if its a problem that i play on normal (did that because of your description that a.i. is super aggressive and leaves no chance to the player) or if some mods are overwrite the a.i. behavior.
But from the experience i got this far... not impressed, i think i going back to bren´s hard mode.
He really did a good job hands down

ok disabled all mods except the official mk1212 mods and game starting fine.now gonna reanable my other mods one after another.gonna report back when i found the one thats causing issue
