Make sure half life 2 ep 2 is installed AND mounted in gmod. If you still get errors, you probably have conflicting addons or did it wrong

Oh wow, its still a thing? Huh. Well I imagine its just the same bunch of toxic people playing it now, that did back then. I joined their forum a while ago, just to post that I had a few new zs maps, and was instantly harassed and berated for no reason.

Yes, this was originally something I made for Toxic Ville, I just combined both maps into one big map, and removed game logic, so it works in gmod for sandbox/zombie survival or other.

You can download the original mod, and put the map(s) from it, into gmods map folder, I dont know how gmod handles switching levels though, because I actually merged both maps into one big map.

The concept is pretty cool and makes for an interesting aesthetic! I'm not much into sandbox, I mostly use gmod to play the original HL2 campaign and some RTSL entries with custom weapon packs from the workshop - is there any way to play the map as it was originally intended?

Yeah, basically. I just removed all game logic, most player clips, and opened up/made it more suitable for sandbox/other gamemodes, because why not. Maybe some might find some fun in it.

Since this was in a previous RTSL competition was it originally an adventure/campaign map rather than sandbox?

I don't know which part of the world you or S live in but I really doubt eight bucks is going to harm their wallet that much.

I dont think there is any point, suggesting to buy a game, to someone asking such a question, I simply offered a possible solution, to an obvious answer (Just buying the game), not sure how this would "not be good for my image" but ok...

Or suggest to buy the game because its not that expensive, suggesting piracy isn't exactly great for someone's image my friend.

I would have to manually extract all the textures, models and sounds, and pack it all into the map, causing the filesize to increase by a lot. So yeah, thats not gonna happen, sorry.

I think there are addons that let you download ep2 content yourself

why dont you put the textures and models into the map files and we can play it without needing hl2 ep2
