You fixed most of them, but whatever method you used to update your xml files seems to have missed any of the negative skill offsets and only updated the positive ones.

Getting a ton of errors when loading this and your Classical pack. Looks like the format for skillGains in the BackstoryDef has changed. Instead of list items with key/value pairs, you just add nodes with the skill name and the value as its content.

For example:

Yeah I have to ask the same as @TurtleShroom, having it as a bank is all well and good but it’s pointless data because it’s never applied to any random pawns except your own custom made in character editor or prepare carefully…the VFE guys left the backstories out as far as I’m aware because they didn’t want that feature to be reliant on HAR framework (as this is) to work and their Vanilla Expanded framework wasn’t as advanced then.

I got this error for some reason. Apparently you're missing a bracket in one of the backstories. Don't know which one it is, but the error keeps appearing in the log every time I exit Character Editor.

You may publish those code independently. I am making this a pure bank of backstories without any patching operation. And any patches that utilize these stories can be on their own. I will leave a link to your patch in the description when you are done.

Well Medieval Overhaul has some, I just tested adding in some code into the backstories for those factions and there weren't any errors. There is also the Medieval Royalty mod (makes the royalty faction medieval), a patch to add these backstories to those pawns would certainly fit. I'll try and find an equivalent patch and send you the code for it, so you can add them in if the mods are active. Will add to the flavour. :D

Well, I don't know much about other medieval factions other than VFE's, but a patch will always do the trick. This is more likely a pure library of backstories, and a patch is always required to add them to other mods, for example my VE patches

@Shavius have you considered adding some patches to include these backstories in appropriate medieval factions? As I'm not sure what factions other than the aforementioned VFE Medieval have this backstory tag.

I'm testing at the moment with a custom Witcher faction that uses my own medieval backstories so that these would also appear.

It's to do with the required work tags on some of the backstories, I know this one from my own backstory delvings (which is what I thought it was originally) till I checked this mods backstories. Should be Required work tags 'Caring' not Medicine to avoid red error.
