it's literally abandoned
When I activate the crowbar, it appears stuck in the air and my hand is gone. Only when I move, my hand eventually reappears with a "new" crowbar in it in some weird position. To be able to use this crowbar I have to let it go and pick it back up again, requiring me to keep the button pressed. The other crowbar remains stuck in the air until I deactivate it again.
Apart from that, the fact that you can't use the crowbar in your off-hand together with your main weapon is a real bummer. I also don't really like the handling and feel. I often missed swings that should've hit and I also hit with things that shouldn't have.
One more thing I noticed: You can one-shot the armored headcrabs even if you hit their shell. That makes things way too easy.

I generally recommend to swing with your entire arm, as I've seen people turn only their wrist around when using the weapon, which can feel weirder and might not be as effective, just like in real life.
3) I've heard this reported a few times that when using the upgrade station, the changes to the weapons are sometimes not saved. In order to combat this 100% of the time, simply disable the Crowbar before using an upgrade station and enable it only after you've taken the upgraded gun.

1) Now that you mention this, It is possible that there might be problems with the first time acquiring of the pistol, as that part of the game doesn't expect you to have weapons yet and if you leave crowbar enabled before you pick the gun, it might not save it properly. But ultimately that shouldn't really matter, as you'll receive the pistol in the parts of the game where you need it.
1.) Upon getting the pistol, as soon as you unequip it, it becomes unavailable, even after spamming the crowbar equip/unequip action. This only fixed upon reaching the part where you acquire the Multitool.
2.) The crowbar's ability to do damage seems unreliable and sometimes does no damage while other times it just annihilates. I have reason to believe it has something to do with how the crowbar seems to slow down your hand with swung.
3.) The upgrades seem effectively disabled with this mod on. I say this because I got the Reflex Sight upgrade for my pistol and as soon as I equipped the crowbar, the pistol lost the reflex sight.
Cons: No shotgun / SMG

As for the issue itself - I'd still like to know if pressing the "Crowbar Activation Button" automatically picks up the Crowbar, but doesn't disable/enable it anymore. If that's the case, you can use the command "ent_fire @Activate_Crowbar enable", now that you know how to use the console, and see if it works.
If this is not the case and you can still disable/enable the Crowbar freely, it might be possible all is still working correctly - simply equip and unequip the Crowbar and then try to open the weapon menu(at least twice). That should probably do it, because loading saves is supported and should work correctly and dying itself cannot affect previous saves (unless a rare problem that is solved with the second paragraph occured)
Hey, can you describe the issue further?
How can't you access other guns - does pressing the button not do anything? Have you tried disabling/activating the Crowbar and then trying to equip the guns?
Or does pressing the button make you take the Crowbar into your hand, but it no longer disables/activates it - if that's the case, try using the command "ent_fire @Activate_Crowbar enable".
As a general rule of thumb, I'd recommend to make manual saves rather than to rely on the autosaves in the campaign too.

Yes, that's how the Crowbar functions - it's just like with the other guns, if you have it active, you can't have other weapons out at the same time. To use the weapons again, just holster/deactivate the crowbar.
I'd recommend to disable the crowbar before weapons are upgraded and only reequip it after upgraded weapons were picked up; there might be a specific timeframe during which the weapon might not get detected.
Back on topic, when upgrading a weapon with this mod active sometimes the weapon mods just vanish when the crowbar is re-equiped. (They don't come back even after doing it multiple times.)
I'll do more testing in the issue above and see if I can narrow it down.
This is a known compatibility issue with other mods that force-enable themselves on all maps, but thank you for providing a way of going around it!

Had an issue where sometimes I get 2 crowbars spawning instead of 1, but sometimes it's fun to cause double trouble!
How is the mod after the last update? Have you encountered any issues so far?
Does it happen every single time?
Make sure you have all other mods disabled(Scalable Init Support included) and try again, as this is behaviour some have encountered when there are compatibility issues with other mods.
Let me know if everything is working this time around.
If any other issues occur related to the update(for instance the weapons still disappearing), please let me know as fast as possible so I can fix the problem.
