Should be animated now.
There might be some changes in the code or additions to the code PDX gave us in 1.7. I did notice that with portrait border mods, where was some addition code add for them.
This is the new code I am using for the 0_portraits.gui or the portraits.gui, in this fix:

Hey mate I got your message, that's fine if you want to integrate any of my mods (or use them as a starting point) into Godherja. I think it's a lot easier with big overhaul mods like yours to integrate and tailor them to the overhaul rather than attempt and maintain compatibility patches. A small acknowledgment somewhere is good form, but it doesn't have to be prominent.

It's weird because there are times when hundreds of characters are also listed, like when you're looking for a wife, and the fps don't go down, only when I choose a guardian
