Well, once I'm done with the initial replacements for every slot I can replace (having some issues with WaW DP-28 anims not fitting the much thinner Raid model), I can settle down and make alternatives. Probably port all of them as props for Garry's Mod along the way.

ye, was just wondering, cause i have a set of mods that enable the spas to be a secondary. since the spas is redone as a double barrel with only two shots, and i do it because i allow my sawed off double barrel to be a secondary as it has an ok trade off in terms of balance. and if this is a higher quality DB with better anims then id be hype for a better SODB seconday but definitely not pushing for it

No, not really. There's a sawed off barrel option, but a stock isn't. But we'll see.

Because mod support was an afterthought, and it started with maps and campaigns. All those fancy skins, sound addons, scripts, and other things just happened to work. If we had source code, we could add more weapons that aren't reskins, but it seems that this era of gaming and modding is long gone. Supply drops and community markets are now the norm and mod support is often excluded or at least severely limited in such games.
