So, in theory, could we change the coffee from bottle_base to Edible_Base? I sent a friend request so we could chat that way about it. I really believe in this little mod!! I'm just so new.

@Yvonne yeah in the med attention config you can add items, as long as they are consumable, to the list of things that improve your fatigue. Haven't looked into the Next Dayz but I believe the difference is that Sodas are technically "edibles" in the game code, as they give nourishment and hydration. They are Edible_Base wheras waterbottles are Bottle_base. There is a cool mod on the workshop to add different fluid types, I might look into.

You mention it could be added to medical attention mod for fatigue. I'm not running that, I run Next-Days instead as they have a similar mechanism. Is there a place in any code that indicates how soda is different from water? It appears you modeled the coffeecup on water bottle use, right? Is there a way to make it like a soda instead? I think that is the only way I could get it to have the same effects--if i'm thinking about it correctly.

@Yvonne Yeah right now it just holds water and can be placed on stoves for aesthetics... I think I have to add some code to the mod to get it to be able to "boil"... so maybe eventually I can change the creation of the coffee etc to require boiling water which would be cool, but for now it doesn't require the water to be hot or anything, that could easily be added though.

We love the idea of the mod. Does the coffee pot have any function other than holding water? We could place it on a gas burner, but it never got hot. It was the same with the fireplace. We could put in the fire and the temp went up to 100 but the water was not boiling. We were able to get the cooking pot to make cups of coffee as you described using the gas cooker. Really cool as it is right now.
