Automation only plans one build every turn, even if produced industry is larger than the industry the build needs, and industry buffer has a limit, so many industry are wasted.
How can I make automation able to plan multiple builds in one turn? I am looking for relative code in but haven't found it.

For population rebalance you might want to specify it's only among planets.

Sorting pops among systems by using the space port is a entirely different beast and very powerful.
You just need one pop in a system to get the population buff it has.
For example you could ship one Remnant, one Mavros, and one Pulsos to a system and get a 40% production bonus, assuming they all have their pop bonuses activated.
Would be really cool if there was a mod that would automatically ship out pops, but idk how to make one or if it's even possible.

If you don't have enough special resources for the advanced ones the build queue stays empty, it's a vanilla behavior that can't be changed unfortunately which is why I made the mod originally. (Use the basic automation if you don't have a surplus of special resources and just manually queue when you can afford them.).

As far as riftborn, it may be possible but I haven't balanced it for them as it throws a wrench into a lot of the queues. (there's a lot of limitations to the system that can't be worked around or is a lot of effort to get workable.)

so the advance automation is not basic+ right?
i mostly use advance but sometime it not build anything. but it build when switch to basic.

and is it possible to automatic build riftborn. i hate to see most of my people are from other race.

@Rotlung There an item called "Fabricated Forces" that converts industry to manpower until manpower is full for the Riftborn, I've got that at the end of the Military automation right before the infinite dust\science. That was the only other infinite improvement that's covered in the automations

1.) Thanks for mentioning that, I didn't notice that was how it worked. In that case, 10 is definitely a good compromise.

2.) What do you mean by military one?

@Rotlung Thanks! I actually have been working with Captain Cobbs on this for ESG and we've got all the code together for it done already, now they'll just be doing the final integration and testing to merge it with all their other changes. No ETA on that yet though.

1. The problem is that it takes 1 turn for it to "get started" so you don't get the benefit until turn 2. 10 turns seemed like a good amount as a compromise, but at 3 or one it wouldn't give you much of a benefit unfortunately.

2. I'm using it for the military one, but we're limited on the number of automations and we're at our max unfortunately so I couldn't add any more.

3. Definitely beyond my scope but I don't think there is

This is a great idea for a mod, I gave it a try and it's really crucial for handling some of the tedium in the game, especially mid/late-game. Hopefully it would be integrated into ESG soon. I have some suggestions:

1.) Rather than 10 turns, is it possible for the finite Research and Dust improvements to last a shorter duration, like 3 or even 1 turn, to allow the automation to be more responsive to new options or when resources become available?
2.) Any plans to expand the finite improvements solution to also include other infinite improvements, such as propaganda system improvements, alms for essence, fabricated forces? Not sure if automation uses most of these though.
3.) This is beyond the scope of the mod, but is it possible to implement auto hero levelling, like prioritising fleet commander or governor skills automatically?

Yeah I found that part and futzed with it forever. It doesnt do anything that I have been able to tell. The other part of which you speak is hidden in the AI code somewhere, I think. Sorry I was just kidding. You have a good mod here. :)

It's probably a resolution/UI scaling issue with the game. I play at 1080p and like you can see in the screenshot above, it does still allow you to select No Automation. What resolution are you playing at and is there any UI scaling enabled?

You can't turn automation off, because the option is off the screen once you select one of the focused automation choices.
