I’m afraid there is nothing I can do about the error you are experiencing with that mod manager.
For now, I added a description of this issue to the Known Issue section to alert the users of the mod manager.

1. Does "the mod manager" indicate the official launcher, or the other third party applications/software?
2. Does "Blue Flame" work in your game?
To be honest, I use only the Windows Notepad to manage my mod list, so perhaps I can't help you. . .

FCS can create EFFECT objects, but does not have functions to create or edit particle systems used in that objects. I made the particle systems in this mod by editing vanilla script and material files.
And I don't know if it is possible to export particles from Blender to OGRE (Kenshi) ...
