@LightenedDark this mod adds onto the vanilla bonuses it doesn't remove them so they are untouched so if they are there they are there

@MrCloista would it be possible to add in all the vanilla Continent Bonuses? Currently Future Combat, Spare Parts, and Helping Hand are not in nor is the Suit Up and Fire When Ready combo bonuses nor are the split resistance orders bonuses of Under the Table , Spy Ring / Inside Job I & II, and Hidden Reserve I & II.

I'm aware that you'd have to buff the numbers if they are continent bonuses, but if that's too difficult, I don't mind doing that manually once they are exposed. For instance All In was 20%, Under the Table was 50%, and To Live Fire Training / Serve Mankind was 10 supplies.

@chantzofdeth no idea, depends if they changed how they are chosen, I don't play lwotc so have not tested with it, can confirm it works fine with Covert Infiltration though.

It'll be a card ONLY. Set to true means it can be a card OR a continent bonus.

If I set bContinentBonus=false, will that bonus be available as a card instead of continent bonus or just disappear altogether? Or do I need to comment them out?

@yusukitty - already been answered - it wont do anything mid-campaign unless you are using Modify Continent Bonus mod to then be able to change your selected bonuses. - if you are, then you can change to the newly available bonuses using this mod - also, if you have any resistance cards at this point, those will not be able to be selected in MCB, due to sthe spawn rules explained in the description - MCB is how i tested this mod.

Modify Continent Bonus will show all of the unlocked bonuses in it's options yes, as this mod is just config edits to make more options available. I actually used MCB to test this mod.

Then I guess I'll play for a few more supply drops and see what happens. Then decide if I want to start a new campaign (I've been tweaking some settings here and there so other things may influence that too) or just deal with it and see what happens next campaign. Thanks for this mod, it may solve a problem I've noticed since I started using MCB. :-)

When do the cards get spawned? At the very beginning of a campaign or like every supply drop or as a result of unlocking influence with a faction? I *could* restart my campaign to lock the possible bonuses to a set amount and hopefully eliminate them from the pool of possible covert action rewards.

wont work like that as wont affect any cards already spawned. and this mod doesnt make any more cards available as options - it just makes other cards possibly roll as continent bonuses. You COULD use it to change Europe to something this mod makes available as a continent bonus, and then take the CA for the integrated warfare card though.

Okay. I'm about 12 or so in-game hours from the next supply drop. Going to use this to try and keep "New Resistance Order" covert actions from offering cards for available continent bonuses.

Right now Europe is unlocked and providing the "Integrated Warfare" (the one that increases weapon mod abilities) and I have a covert action offering the same Resistance Order card. Didn't take it since I already have it, but would like to see something like Noble Cause show up instead.

I use [WOTC] Modify Continent Bonus by -bg- and have noticed when I set the continent bonuses for a new game I sometimes get the card for it. It doesn't seem to hurt anything, but it's a bit annoying and I'd like to see a different card show up. Going to try this one and see if it helps with that.

@marshmallow justices - they're small, but helpful in some ways. Resistance Network, for example, lets you expand rapidly by cutting the contact time to instant. So you can wait til a few hours til next supply drop and *bam* spend intel to contact multiple regions and get an income boost.

I will try this with LWOTC Mod Jam. I always liked the idea of Continent Bonuses but they always seemed like a backdrop factor compared to X1 LW where they made a big deal about the bonus you got for your starting region. I think in vanilla x2/long war the amount of continent bonuses are quite small. I don't know anything about if anything is getting disabled, like in the compat. note, but either way.

So I'm playing a CI campaign and can not get the TacAnal card to become a random continent bonus, no matter how many times I restart .. do you know why this is?

And no, I didn't read the clearly explained reason in the description, I mean.. who has time for descriptions, right?
