This mod also seems to cuase a crash when the AI loads up the unit data at the start of their turn (tested via Skirmish against AI by creating a randomiced Cathay AI army)

Ok so I figured out what the fireball thing is, I think. Under battle_entities the alchemist entity has "can cast projectile" unticked. So it's a vanilla bug causing it. If you just add that table and tick that box that should fix it without having to edit the fireball.

Yeah, validating game files and unsubscribing + resubscribing fixed the issue. Seems like there was some old code somewhere screwing with me. Thanks for your help!

Can you try unsubscribing and resubscribing? They were the two that needed changes for 2.0.0 and it sounds like they have not updated - they are both working for me currently.

So, this mod and your Support Astromancer mods seem to stop the game on start-up now. I tried without any other mods installed, and these two don't seem to work - having either one enabled crashes the game on the first load screen. From what I can tell, your Yellow Skill Tree mods work just fine, though.

I've updated the mod again to potentially fix the Fireball issue.

Please note I have edited the vanilla Fireball projectile to do this (because I don't know how to create my own custom projectile spells at the moment!) so this will not be compatible with any other mod that also edits that.

If this is a problem for anyone let me know and I'll happily revert the change to this mod to make it more compatible again. (maybe there should be a separate Fireball bug mod?)

Sorry I have been away recently so not caught up - I also had this issue, but I assumed it was an issue with the Fireball spell in general.

Does it work on other units? I can try changing which spell ID the alchemist uses as I think there is more than one for Fireball. I had not considered animations hmm

Can you Rename Alchemists (Fire) Pyromancers since that's what lore of fire wizards are called in the empire (or Gold Wizards) and can you add a third alchemist with the lore of Life (Druid) to the mix. And only give each variant alchemist only 1 enchanced metalurgy skill (Fire for Pyromancer, Piercing for Metal Alchemist and Poison for Druid)? Or teach me how to do it? Since this is a mod I want and if you won't make it I will.
