@terzut yes, I also realised some weired behaiviour with the overload functionality. I´ll take care of it soon.

Is it intended that the weapon always overloads or is there a mechanic the player can control?
Currently set ttt_laser_phaser_overload_damage to 0 because else I got int.max dmg from the world.

nice to hear that my idea is to your liking ;) Keep up the good work. My Mates like your weapons and we haven't even played with them yet :D

Yeah, would be pretty funny if the weapon explodes in your hands or so after usage😂.

I did as a cvar which can be toggled to nerf or buff the weapon a little bit. More details in the patchlog.

Your idea is pretty good. I am going to add it and everyone will be able to turn it on or off by wish.

Perhaps you could build in a cvar that gives the using player a cumulative amount of damage as well, based on the amount of kills the weapon does. E.g the weapon kills 2 people and you have the cvar configured on 10 HP. Then the user would get 20 HP damage for killing 2 people.

Or the cvar controls a specific amount of damage, so the damage isn't calculated cumulative, but singularly.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes you are right. By default its very strong. Thats why its so configurable. You can change the distance to see through walls to a very smal value for example. On our server we did also made the item more expensive, so it costs 2 credits now. Thats also changeble by default TTT2 in the F1 menu.

Pretty cool idea. But isn't this item a little bit overpowered? Are there disadvantages I don't see?
