With patch 4.2, Ancestral warriors now officially disappears corpses, finally ending this mod.
I was confused because I didn't see anything about it in the patch notes, but it works anyway.
I'll leave this mod as well just in case, since the effects are different from vanilla.

Fixed it. It seems that some metadata can no longer be overwritten since patch 4.0.

That mod was created because no other bug fix mods were available. Now the Community Bug Fix Mod exists, so I'll leave it to them.

Thanks for the report. Yes, CA reorganized the animation files and the mod to change the animation was destroyed.

hey, I love your mod and I really wanna keep using it but it seems update 3.0 has brought out a couple of bugs with this mod- 1) ancestral warriors start jumping over an invisible fence instead of playing attack animations 2) it seems they can route instead of just unbinding when their leadership falls too low

Nice mod. I do have a request tho and that is to give them unbreakable. I just find it bizarre that the dead ancestral ghosts can flee in fear if enough of them gets destroyed...

@alexxor, you either don't know what you are talking about, or you are trolling. The units in question were spirits of Cathay that previously left behind corpses when they "died" again. This makes it so that they instead disappear like the ghosts they are.

I haven't played Cathay extensively, waiting for blood pack to play mortal factions, so I had no idea spirit warriors didn't disappear! Thank you for fixing that!

Yup definitely a must have addition...them just falling to the ground has been annoying me from the first use of the spell...I hate how lazy CA got, same laziness with daemons climbing the same wooden ladders Empire uses and fortifications looking exactly the same for everyone.
