It's optional for you to choose them, the originals are still there. There is the light version , backgrounds are still included but there are no white or inverted emblems.

For ethics and civics, place this mod before that, or use the UI overhaul compatibility patch.

No the ethics and civics expanded mod is what it is incompatible with and you can always scroll the flags but with this mod it makes it so you don’t see all of the ethics that are available, the ethics are still in the game but with the mod it makes it so you can’t select the civics

Assuming you are referring to Ethics and Civics Classic/Alternative.
If you have already tried putting this before and lost ability to scroll the flags, then, I would suggest you use UI Overhaul Dynamic in conjunction with the relevant UI Compatibility Patch.

im using this version and i love it, perfect for my ironman save- very vanilla friendly. i appreciate this and 'Flag's of the Void' mod most, nothing too crazy added just perfect Stellaris content that should be in the base game itself

Yes again, all vanilla emblems should be covered. Difference hear is that this includes the Emblems White and Inverted

Currently got the naming incorrect on the Toxoid Silver emblems resulting in them being out of order, unfortunately I'm having problems uploading a fixed version.

New Toxoid emblems included, completed quick, plus I don't have the original values for colour changes hoping I got these right.

SCP Universe Flags by WitherKing97 is fully compatible. Any mod that adds additional flags should be compatible.

Not sure what you mean but it should be compatible with basically everything, excluding my own mods. Which I am currently working on.
