you're right, it it clientside and depends on the maps to be subscribed

nvm, it prob does work, but i thought this would download them for the server. so everyone who plays would see the map icons.. seems that it downloads them ONLY if they player has the map downloaded currently or is subbed.

ex a player would get a new icon after playing the map. but if the server restarts and that player closes and reopens gmod. that icon will be gone again.

hey i added this to my server, doesnt seem to do anything. its there, but nothing downloaded.

I received a new error:

Only one player received this error and this player is playing GMod 64-Bit version.
This happened when the map vote started and also after the map changed after the person joined the round.
I hope that this error and the previous error with the additional information is helpful to solve these issues in the future.

The addon worked fine after the error.
It could be a non important error but I still wanted to report it.

Thanks for the extensive bug report! did the addon stop working afterwards? this bug can be due to a lot of different reasons including problems with gmod caching (e.g. due to tabbing out of the game). I will try to recreate it when i find the time for it!

Received an error in the console while playing TTT2 on a dedicated server.
The situation was the following:
The round was finished, the map vote popup appeared, then I tabbed out of the game but didn't close the map menu and I also didn't vote for anything. Then the map started to change and the error appeared.
Here the error:

you sure? do you have the maps subscribed you're trying to see? it worked fine like 3 weeks ago
