Todays update probably doesn't change all too much for the user, but it changes a few important things for convenience

Strengths now only will be added if you have the Mod that adds the Ability. No more Folder deleting required.

This also means the Mod now officially has no more required Mods as everything is done automaticly.

Loot Pinatas actually has the issue it replaces cores with other stuff, so when using Loot Pinatas your Elerium Cores will be more rare

What do you mean, dig into the config?
I can't figure out the loot. I have different mods for loot (psionics ex machina, mele attachments, suppressors, shield attachments, tela loot). And when I run mods for sorting loot (dude were is my loot, loot piñatas) my elerium cores are missing.
I want the loot to be varied. Can you recommend anything?

they don't necessarily conflict, the only problem is one AI is overriding the other, you could compress their AI trees into one if you know what you do.

there are other ways to achieve something similar. Just look around the workshop for ruler reactions or prime reactions

That feels like a good compromise and it fits the hunter archetype quite well. :)

Thanks. I really like the unpredictability the Advent Evolution mods bring, this one just felt on a whole different level but to be fair, the Chosen are supposed to be a whole other level of enemy.

It's also quite funny to play with the mode that hides F1 info behind the autopsy. Sometimes stuff happens without me getting why (hidden weaknesses and resistances) and it pushes for making the autopsies sooner to be able to deal with/exploit the new enemy perks.

If you ask me i would let the percentages the same with tenebrous form, but deactivate it for melee

Maybe I could go around it with prep, but I was caught surprised as the perks were still unrevealed and was prepared for an easy win as I had him cornered with my dudes on high ground. I was all out of grenades (it was pretty packed 1st facility mission) and the only source of damage I had that could go through was psi attacks (and he was also immune to them). It would be really hard to go through 15 or so HP (that was when he became really hard to hit) with 3 health regen per turn without relying on regular attacks at that point in the game. The most Xcom-y thing to do would be to try to finish the mission without killing him but seeing your sniper missing 10 shots from high ground without any understanding of what's happening leaves you with a thirst for chosen blood. :D

Just got a lvl 2 Hunter with Regeneration and Tenebrous Form (1.1% hit deflection for each 1% missing health), so basically undefeatable without AOE. :steamhappy:

It's a nasty perk when paired with to 40HP, as they get 80% deflection before getting anywhere near killed-in-one-shot range. I went to Mitzruti perk pack and tuned down the deflection percentage and turned it off for melee atacks. Still relevant when deciding to take a shot, but there's are ways around it by either using melee or ensuring there's extra firepower available if missed.

Should you not use one of these mods, just delete the respective folder to prevent empty no-perks appear among the chosen:

A better Chosen and Aggressive Chosen definitely work together. I've played with them for more campaigns than I can count now. It's a great mix - essentially the AI of Better Chosen but engages more quickly.

No I have never considered modding for LWotC. 1) I do not play LWOTC myself and 2) Kiruka is doing a great job modding for LWOTC

I think Aggressive Chosen and A better Chosen will not really work together. i prefer A beter Chosen. I do use Ruler Reactions for the Chosen and Moddable Ruler Turns and don't think they have a problem with the AI Mods.

I would like to buff them a bit and try your mod, even if that means that I have to get 2 more mods that I don't have yet - the requirements for this mod.

i already use all of the chosen buffs that are out there in the workshop: [WotC] Aggressive Chosen / [WOTC] Chosen Weaponry Fix / A Better Chosen / New Chosen Traits / Restored Chosen Traits / Ruler Reactions for the Chosen... and still find them a little bit to weak. they still dont get the power of Dr Vahlens Rulers.

However, I have a question first: "[WotC] Aggressive Chosen", "A Better Chosen" and "Ruler Reactions for the Chosen" all change the AI of the Chosen - are these three compatible with each other? because mine are still pretty stupid - they often just stand around during their turn (i.e. when it would be their turn without "Ruler Reactions", after the aliens/Advent turn) and don't do anything. why? and - does your mod change anything about the AI?
