Mhm. Has anyone tried disabling ALL addons apart from this one yet??
Make sure you don’t have any addons loaded from your OWN game files, outside of the workshop, too.

I disable anything that might conflict when using mods like this. Also my Gmod is weird and things just don't work for me for some reason.

idk if it's my lack of addons and how I coded it, or me forgetting to update the mod or smth, but this works for me every single time? It's a common complaint and idk what causes it. Do you have any "gmod realism" mods or parkour addons? If so, list some of them out for me, I MIGHT look into how they affect this one.

There was a working mod called something like "Remove player speedcap" that did work, can't find it anymore. btw this does nothing for me.

that's already a thing, i literally linked one of them... Only problem is, you have to bind it to a key to toggle it. Or, y'know, write it manually into the console each time.

someone should make a mod where you could just hold down the spacebar like in Pre fortress 2 or Open fortress

What this addon does is change a few lines or smth in gamemodes\sandbox\gamemode\player_class\player_sandbox.lua
this basically removes a speedcap from the player's movement script.
I don't know why people have so much trouble with this addon, when it works perfectly fine for me?

I have disabled all of my mods except this one, I have have tried bunnyhopping manually, with ingame scripts and ahk. None of them have worked so far.

Most of the mods that I have found that attempt to remove the bhop cap or affect the player speed simply do not work. I have gone through 6 different addons and not one has allow me to gain speed through air strafing. I don't know if this is a compatibility error or something else, but considering how I have no addons that affect the movement it should be about compatibility. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Beatrun 100% Can and probably does conflict with this Addon. Try removing it.

still doesnt work it may either be my garrys mod or something else. or i might just suck at bhopping- i have tried bhopping and it works there. so i dont really know what else it could be

no i uninstall every other unfix i could possibly find and i dont think i have any other ones that may i will check quickly by unchecking all of my possible movement things and see what happens.

if you dont add any code except for unclamping the speed cap, this does happen, but this addon doesnt seem to do that. maybe he tried multiple unfix-es and forgot to disable one of them.

"proper" not to hate but when i tried it. didnt work and then i found out all you have to do is hold space with the auto jump script and just move forward and then it starts going extremely fast. i dont think its fixing it the right way or eithers its my addons. any advice on whats going on?
still pretty awsome to see unfixes

it changes the sandbox movement handler file to have bunnyhop like mechanics & no speed cap

I named the gma "bhopfix.gma", but it usually is named after the workshop addon if it's in your garrysmod/addons folder.
