@Kad
Good question. It depends on the modding interface with the game's coded API, what language the embedded scripting environment and game engine pipeline is in, its code structure and system specs, and other factors. You have to do it to find out on a case-by-case basis unless you use a newer, more optimized language and more predictable performant and tested-true coding methods involving knowledge of how processors waste time shuffling high-level excess data around from memory to caches. You know they (CPUs), and GPUs even more so, have the ability to run billions of complex computation instructions per second, right? And most operations can be simplified dramatically if you put some thought into it (as AI has been showing us up by thousands of times, without even using neuromorphic non-von-neumann computation frameworks).

Now if only developers could keep up..

umm does having all the mods to get rid of all the extra unnecessary stuff make it better or worse on performance ?? no idea on computers as you can tell

I always wondered why the put Grass in the water in the first place...
Tiber Septim 23 ABR 2016 a las 17:20
Adding this will boost your FPS. I actually used this on an older HP Crap-Top
Tiber Septim 10 FEB 2016 a las 21:38
I'm clocking 75 fps on ULTRA with 100+ mods

I have a nice PC, all high at a gorgeous 60 FPS. This may actually prove useful, just to remove the ugly land grass in the WATER. Thank's. +1

Actually research it on google. in skyrimprefs.ini files you can edit that.
Shadow 19 DIC 2014 a las 7:23
can you make a new mod to get rid of all shadows in game. for me mine already look ugly cause i have them on the lowest setting but the fact you will be able to ge rid of them means more light in the game and more performance FPS. overall a beter skyrim expirience.
Amicus 17 DIC 2014 a las 16:32
? sorry but Im not sure what you mean. Is it seaweed?
TheOtherGuy  [autor] 17 DIC 2014 a las 16:14

Amicus 17 DIC 2014 a las 15:41

MattBitt44 17 OCT 2014 a las 18:24

BackUpYourData 17 OCT 2014 a las 13:27
Sorry, stupid question here, but does this work with W.A.T.E.R.?
TheOtherGuy  [autor] 18 SEP 2014 a las 13:56
no doesnt matter, i may release a new mod for dead shrubs, then use cpu power but are worhtless.
aroundthefur79 17 SEP 2014 a las 22:23
does it matter where i place these in the load order? right now i got them all one after another towards the top of the load order ?
aroundthefur79 17 SEP 2014 a las 22:17
oh I have got em all and they have helped big time...
TheOtherGuy  [autor] 17 SEP 2014 a las 14:29
and if you havnt downloaded my performance mod with trees, u should. That will give you 10 fps boost average in forest.
TheOtherGuy  [autor] 17 SEP 2014 a las 14:27
Look, textures isnt the thing that will ruin much your fps. Theres lots of changes in skyrimpref.ini or skyrim.ini that u can do to boost fps. on google, learn how to put your game in high priority, make it run in a lower directx, etc.
aroundthefur79 16 SEP 2014 a las 23:57
again thanks!... at first i thought i could do without using anymore of your great mods as my skyrim was working pretty well without having to make any more sacrifices and spending hours trying diff things to boost performance and then out of nowhere I started to notice lag coming back=(... I hope this works. Is there anything else out there that could also help out my fps?that is on the workshop?.I wish i could get the one mod from nexus that compresses all the texture files in the game for a massive fps boost but my computers browser is messed up and can't DL certain things from IP!/? and i don't have the money to fix it at the moment
TheOtherGuy  [autor] 10 AGO 2014 a las 7:33
Well look, I really wanted people to be able to have this mod. I even said that all credits go to him. And also, I didn't copy paste anyones mod. I created a new mod from scratch. So if he reports me, fine, but atleast people that download only on steam were able to have the chance to get this performance booster.
BOSSMAN 9 AGO 2014 a las 15:00
Thanks for the credit but dude you cant go around copy and pasting other peoples mods from the skyrim nexus without informing the author

Great mod though, tried it and one of the other preformance mods you have, and my Skyrim is already running smoother!
