ok now i got it, i have regrowth, yet a wmbp patch for alpha biomes and more vanilla biomes which require regrowth, so i thought mo isnt included there too.

It makes no sense for me to use regrowth, since the 1.5 version of MO is already regrowth compatible, which would make this mod redundant.

This mod is aimed at all those who want a beautiful world map and do not want to use regrowth for it.

works still fine with 1.4.
you just have to use the official Medieval Overhaul and the 1.4 version of World Map Beautification Project

The dependencies have been adapted so that they match RW 1.5.

Also, is it possible to make this not necessarily depend on the original WMBP? The ReGrowth: Core has the features of WMBP but your mod still depends on the original standalone, which is incompatible with ReGrowth.

You may wish to change the dependency link for Medieval Overhaul to the 1.5 fork, as I think the original mod (current link) is not being updated to 1.5, they are instead just making Medieval 2.

Thats a bummer, but understandable. I actually woke up this morning and realized I could just delete the dependency line from about.xml, haha. Thank you for your hard work, this mod is one of my essentials.. :)

Interesting, even after the update it's working just as before with all biomes working fine except dark forest (no trees and old style mountains still). I tried unsubbing and resubbing but no effect.

You can just ignore the error.
Unfortunately, there is no option in the warning to say that mod a or b should be present.
Since 1.5 is the current RW version, I have set the warning to the forked version. But 1.4 still works as usual.

Hi. is it possible to add an either/or dependancy kinda thing? Im still on 1.4 so I get an error in Rimpy without having the forked version. I would just use that one but it says its only for 1.5. Thank.

yes it was officially moved to regrowth core and WMBP standalone was abandoned but regrowth core is extremely bloated and full of gameplay changes that fundamentally destroy balance and difficulty, hence why someone made the WMBP-only unofficial fork.

Havent noticed that there are forks for WMBP. I thought everything moved.to regrowth Core, for which MO already has a Patch.

this works with the MO 1.5 and WMBP 1.5 unofficial forks, but the dark forest tree cover isn't working.

I have never tested this, but I cannot imagine it. The only thing my mod does is add new textures. If there are conflicts with Expanded world Generation, they probably come directly from World Map beautification Project... But I can't imagine that either.

The unofficial MO and the original MO both use the same packageId. I have intentionally not changed this so that all mods that work because of or with MO can still be used. And so that there are no problems later on when MO is officially patched to 1.4.

So yes, you can use it for the unofficial version without any problems.

I'm glad you like it. If you want to play without Medieval Overhaul, then the regular World Map Beautification Project mod is actually sufficient, as my mod only adjusts the appearance of the Medieval Overhaul biomes on the World Map.
Or have I misunderstood something?

Totally beautiful! Any chance you could upload a version without Medieval Overhaul dependency? (i have 317 mods installed and fine-tuned, and MO is really big overhaul that would be too much)
