This mod has brought nothing but negitive revews IDK if the MOD Auther did not test or just uploaded at a TROLL.. SE does not deal with trolls very often. ***********DO NOT USE . god heavy on earth what a shit. i place a block and the rotor ring flys away even befor i can start welding. did you even test your shit befor upload?

So, I can't get any of the rotors from the 1.3 update to spin, also the sg heads will sometimes shoot off when attaching/detaching. Displacement height also doesn't seem work. This as well as the fact that the head jitters when blocks are placed near by leads me to believe that the collisions are to big.

im... really curious if this can work for the Kirishima Cruiser from the Yamato 2199/2202 anime, where the Bridge and Turret were together

Well... Clang is angry using this mod... I 1rst thought it was a collision issue with voxel so I've tried to build it 1 block high and still angry Clang... So gonna make a change of plan and not use them for now... Maybe I'll try the Large to Small variant later but well... Hopefully Clang will be calmer in the futur xD

@arcticequine The rings are actually 5x5, 7x7... blocks, hollow blocks are not possible in SE which mean you cannot build inside the ring and you cannot build below because the mount points are only ot the top side.
A possible sollution would be to attach an additional grid via rotor /hinge /whatever you preffer and have it extrude down through the ring.
I was at some point also thinking about this problem and maybe I´m doing a version that lets you build on top and below the ring.

It looks as though this doesn't allow me to build on the rotor's grid past the stator in terms of height (I'm trying to make a turret basket, but can't build down below the ring on the ring's grid.) Is something that's not possible in the game's engine?

@Eddo_Of_Rivia Right, I was sure they were likely there, but I don't build a lot of small grid ships because I am weird.
Ok, I would be down for trying them out again once shrink them. Take your time and I look forward to the update.

I do host a dedicated for a few friends of mine. I might try it out on SP later this week when they are offline and I am bored. I will try it with the same mods and try and replicate it

@xThatFedExGuy You can swith to small grid sizes just like with any vanilla block, im 100% sure they exist^^
I`ll shrink them anyway, it can only reduce clang and im not sure how much "safe space" is the best for the rotor to move freely. And it`s not like i had to do it a dozen times already befor i released the mod...

Do you host your server dedicated? It can maybe releated to playing on a server, i remember this being common a few years ago when i last played on a server.
The other reason could be a mod conflict, but i doubt that as the mod causing this would need to change rotors in generall.

I`ll try collision first, maybe i make them a lot smaller just to be on the safe side :))

@Eddo_Of_Rivia It happened with all of the large grid sizes. (I didn't test small grid, because I don't recall seeing small grid)
I tried a new save and it seemed to work fairly well and I love the mod, but can't use on my MP server with my friends.
If you do shrink them, I would love to try this out again. If you don't, I understand. I know making these mods is a lot of work, so I wouldn't worry too much about my bug honestly. lol

@xThatFedExGuy Did this happen every time with any of the rotors you placed(small and large)? Have you tried only this mod in a new save? (That would eliminate a lot of possible causes)
The only way i got head to clang was when it spawned in other blocks, but even then not close to a flying sawblade :)
I can allways try shrinking the collision shapes, maybe that will help.

I really wanted these to work out, but unfortunately for some reason, as soon as I place the base of it, the rotor part launches like a disc shooter. Its done some cool things like launched and bounced/took out two trees, then launched off to space.. but not what I downloaded this for. I hope this bug can be replicated and fixed because I looked forward to this mod.
