Hi Martechi, if you ever revisit this mod, could you please add a scripted trigger for compatibility checks? Something like "has_uss = { always = yes }". Thank you!

Fix is to paste this:

Right above the fallback call in the file.

Dunno if there's any plans to update or continue this one, but the shipset's ended up in the biological section with the 4.0 update. Really loved the mod.

do hope this epic mod is expanded one day the idea of low tech megastructure skins sounds amazing like a dyson swarm of satelites rather then a sphere etc etc.

yea, most shipsets will still work, unless there has been MASSIVE changes to the way ships work, if they just add new ships, the shipset will use vanilla shipset versions

It's the city set for his shipset, because sometimes shipsets copy over exiting cities with themselves. The game is wonky like that.

Hello!

I've been making B5 mods for a while and was stuck on a rotating section for earth force when I saw your station here rotates. I was wondering how you managed that. I can get it to rotate in blender, but section vanishes in game. and I noticed you, along with vanilla ark ship, have more bones than me... just can't see how it's all put together importing the mesh files.

Hey, I took the liberty of changing the scales of the chips by 2x as suggested and I noticed a missing section of code in the Destroyer section for the Artillery bow. I fixed it on my end, but you might want to take a look yourself.

Basically the scale value and all the other associated data for the Artilery Bow after the name and pdxmesh are absent and I had to copy paste it from another bow section. This seems to have fixed it.

If you want to look at the modified file, I can send it to you, though I did accidentally also modify the scale for the weapon effects, which I think look cool, but I imagine are a bit over the top for most. It would also be really nice to have a normal scale version of the mod on the workshop if that's possible.

Thanks for all the hard work, I really like this shipset and I can't wait to see the other ones you put out in the future. Especially the soviet themed ships from this world building project you've started.

question: have you seen the "starlancer" spaceships and have you had any interest in ever making a stellaris shipset of big, chunky, retro-sci-fi spaceships? be they "coalition" or "alliance"
am nostalgic for starlancer and i do like the ship aesthetic they have.

I've been having problems with the colony ships glitching out on rare occasions. Looking at the error log, I notice two errors that may be relevant

[16:26:06][graphics/pdx_entity.cpp:2648]: Missing default_state for entity "uss_01_colony_ship_entity" with animated mesh "uss_01_colony_ship_mesh" and no attributes

[16:26:06][graphics/pdx_entity.cpp:2661]: State 'death' in animated entity 'uss_01_colony_ship_entity' is missing an animation!
