Official Legendary Characters Radious Compatibility Submod

My response was to both you and the other person who asked a question. As for not knowing how to mod, it's not that hard to learn the basics required for submodding, there's plenty of tutorials from WH2 that still are relevant to WH3.

I do not know how to mod

It is primarily tables that you'd update, though there's also potentially some characters not covered as it's been a bit. So if you want to take a crack at it, feel free, as I have no plans to update these submods.

@Avallac That is true, though it won't have the added items I put on certain characters. But regardless, people are free to go use that, just don't directly link it in the comments here, cause old drama and yeah, not keen on it.

I was booted from the discord because my idea of balance and just the fact I'm friends with certain individuals is why Radious burned that bridge and wants nothing to do with me. But anyone is free to try and take up this or any other submod of mine.

Is There a way to fix or build the broken bridges ? <3 Your additions are awesome

I recommend reading the various comments and the description. I and Lumi do not work with Radious anymore. This is left up purely in case someone else wants to take it over, or create additions themselves.

@Krusnik, I appreciate your thanks, but unless someone else takes up these submods they'll remain as is. I recommend reading the part that says Important Info on Status in the description, along with some of the comments below. I only ask you understand that I have my limits for dealing with drama, and to know that I didn't originally plan for things to go this way.

Honestly, the whole Radious community seems like trash. I popped in just to ask a question about getting the mod to work and got the most sarcastic and rude responses from the moderators of their discord no less. Not surprised to hear that the toxicity abounds.

Maybe from your standpoint, since you're not a modder, your only real concern is how fast the update is. Though my concern being a modder is that I will not accept people going behind my back insulting me while I sleep. Telling me my work is garbage and not giving me any credit for anything I did in the past. Maybe you'd be fine still working with someone who insults you and your work, and then puts up their own version of your most popular submod. But I can only stomach so much, I stayed when others left when he made an insulting comment before. Repeated insults only lead to me just not wanting to deal with any of it, any longer. I don't get paid for this, and even if I had a patreon to take donations I wouldn't accept donations for submod work, since it's a submod, it'd be like getting paid in part due to someone else's work, and that's not right. So I won't be dealing with Radious anymore, but I still have these up in case someone else wants to take over.

Fast updates doesn't excuse bad behavior, and while I didn't play SFO nearly as much as I did Radious, I've not heard of as much drama happening around SFO as it does for Radious. Aside from working on the standalone mods when Thrones of Decay drop, I don't have any other plans to work on submods for any overhaul at present. While I don't think Venris would backstab me or insult me, I originally didn't think Radious would do that either, but here we are. As I said before, anyone is free to take and update my submods, or even ask me for advise or help. I just don't want to deal with Radious anymore. Hence why my submods are all up with the same message in the description (barring the Deer24 one as Leohong was in charge of that one).

At least Radious updates their mods within a few days, unlike SFO that takes 4 months.

If anyone is willing to work with this submod again, he/she should know that it causes a CTD when trying to select Warriors of Chaos in the Custom Battle vs AI window.

it's unfortunate it's gone this way... no reason to play radious without the inclusion of a few of your submods and their base mods along with it, at least for me personally. Of course I'm hoping whatever the conflict is, it has a chance to be resolved somehow. Good luck

So neither I nor Lumi are likely to ever submod for Radious again. Though I do still leave these things up in case anyone wants to take them over. I caution those who would want to submod for Radious to be careful when dealing with him, and just if you're new to modding to start with smaller submods. But otherwise that's the shortest answer with still giving some context. Full context would require a fair bit more length.

So the short answer is there was some drama between me, Lumi, and Radious, it spans quite a few months back, Lumi left due to a comment that Radious had said, I stayed until just recently when Radious made yet another comment which I was not ok with. While one could argue that the drama a few months back was bad for both sides. This recent one was mostly directed my way while I was initially asleep, and it was not ok. If Radious had approached the situation differently then I would still have stuck to my original plan of coming back from hiatus for Thrones of Decay, and start updating submods. Now when I do come back from hiatus it will only be for my standalone mods, Radious thoroughly burned down the bridge between himself and all of his major submodders with the exception of Synthetic Man who basically works for him in a more official capacity.

@DarkRite, if it's not too much of a bother, can I ask why you and @LuminousClarity don't want to "deal with" Radious anymore?

@keitt_adam I really am sorry but I cannot really help you much, you can try to dm me or Lumi on discord and ask for the file. But that's about all the help I can offer. Both me and Lumi don't want to deal with Radious anymore, so there's not much either of us are willing to do. I do not want your money, I do not accept donations for submod work. Giving the file is the only thing we can do, and that will only work for so long. Once we get any sort of map expansion the file won't be much help. So I won't accept money for it because it simply wouldn't work potentially at all once that happens.

Nah, not yet, if the shadows of change additions are good then I will probably find some motivation then. Though I won't be back from hiatus till Thrones of Decay, mostly cause I would need to spend a lot of time working on mods to get everything updated, so updates wouldn't be actually dropping until after Thrones of Decay, that's my current plan at any rate.

Still waiting to see what CA has planned, once I know I can then decide on whether to update mods soon, or wait till later. I do apologize for anyone who desired to use my mods and submods but for now I just don't have the motivation for it. My motivation will return sooner or later, but only time will tell when exactly that is.

Tried downloading the Radious mod collection, game kept crashing on launch, eventually after much trial and error as I'm a total mod noob, I launched game repeatedly with mods disabled then enabled, this is the mod causing a CTD on game launch.

A shame because it looks amazing. Hope you have had a great Christmas and New year.

I'm on extended leave, this and my other submods will not be updated until I return to the game later. Which will happen after CA gives good news about the next dlc, or just enough good news for me to once again be excited for the future of the game.
