How can I load this mod by the gameinfo.txt file to skip the pre-loading step? I copy-paste the three lines, I guess, but where exactly in the txt?

The "sparkle effect" is a sourcemod called "dissolve infected" and has been out since 2018. it probably would be on the workshop by now if it was simple to implement. sadly sourcemods only work on servers, it may work on local/listen if -insecure is enabled (apparently)

Boop! Howdy! I've been having issues with this mod and just wanted to test something quickly! Can someone confirm that changing the 'shader' settings mid-game nullifies the effects of this mod?

Even when I use V-scripts to enforce this mod to work, the ragdolls will persist if I change certain video settings mid-game! So if someone can check for me if this glitch happens to them as well, I'd be really grateful! Thanks!

Nice. It works perfectly fine in Campaign, Realism and survival, which is more than enough for me. Does not require the server to be local. Good job, mate, you have done great stuff by just one line that I had to add in the convars of gamemodes.txt:
g_ragdoll_lvfadespeed 200
g_ragdoll_fadespeed 200
cl_ragdoll_maxcount 0
And you deserved the reward.

Did you use these commands? These commands smooth out the ai animations I don't know why it keeps conflicting.
