Given the positive feedback on the mountain halo effect. This one might also get a warm welcome. Especially on certain Engineer and Sniper hats.

i really like the look of this, great job to robert for the unique sprite and RC for putting it together! reminds me a bit of the "Heatstroke" effect i made, but way more detailed!

the only suggestion i'd make is adding a bit more fade to the edges of the scene so it doesn't stick out so much from the surrounding area, or just having the clouds at a higher opacity to cover the edges some more. great work, you two!

I LOVE unusual effects that are like paintings, especially if they have little moving elements. I would recommend raising the sun higher/lowering the background, and add some vultures flying across the scene and maybe a tumbleweed if you can!

The sun asset is merely a glow texture you can find in the tf2 files and the background was drawn by Shaun. I haven't seen alot of good guides for using the particle editor, a lot of the stuff i've done has been mainly trial and error.

This is freakin awesome O.o
As a Newcomer who wants to get into creating Workshop stuff (specific Unusuals).
Have you any good guides? Tipps and Tricks? For example the background? Is it handdrawn? And the sun effect? Is it selfmade or assets from some where?
So many questions :D

This might be my favorite unusual effect. Awesome job!
