@KnoxA(H*10) I was playing for a long time, and I chose a rookie to Skirmisher Sentinel, so good for that.
Still, the mod that gives you an infiltration chain to get one of that class is so good, you should check it out.

@Nєx 一 红龙 I know this is a very, very late response, but I personally do not use Covert Infiltration as I am not a fan of some of its mechanics, so compatibility with Rescue Resistance Leader wont be made by me. If someone wanted to make compatibility for it with my mods, I would not be opposed.

@Risitas_Fanboi If this somehow applied, the only method I can think of to fix it is using shiremct's Additional Soldier Console Commands and using "RebuildSelectedSoldiersClass".

It should reset everything, making both the mag size and mobility penalty not apply, but you will have to re-purchase your abilities back (which shouldn't be a major issue, unless you have used XCOM AP to acquire any additional abilities).

When I last tested this ability, it worked fine, but I'll make sure to give it a quick look and see if there are also any other issues.

I chose the Larger Magazine perk on my Sentinel and for some reason she got it twice, now she has +2 mag size but -4 mobility. How do I fix it?

Can you make to get one into a Rescue Resistance Leader? also for u other 3 hero class?

After a brief look, none of the classes were designed to allow the user to change the amount able to be trained (which I thought I had done), but the system still should work.

Additionally, unlike the Commander, these classes cannot artificially have their max trainable count increased, I for some reason didn't implement that, so I'll add that to the planned update notes.

If you are having issues where the system doesn't work, let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it as I currently haven't experienced this as an issue.

@TrooperCoon, each of the hero classes (including Commander) have a special way of forcing "NumInForcedDeck = 1" as the previous method that it used actually didn't work.

all 3 pseudo hero classes seem to have all their numinforceddeck and numindeck set to 0 making them unobtainable through gts

The Skirmisher Sentinel, like my other hero classes are unique specialty classes, they do not share the proficiency perk of the original hero classes, thus are unable to get their buffs. The Skirmisher Sentinel's perk is a variant of the Proficiency Skirmisher; because it is not the same, it is unable to provide the stats.

The only way to gain the proficiency abilities for the Skirmisher Sentinel is to level them up by using them. It is intended to be a stronger class that you can get early, but is forced to be reset if they ever die in combat.

I trained one skirmisher sentinel before researching the first GTS Skirmisher upgrade. after upgrade the first GTS another my skirmisher has the justice but my skirmisher sentinel doesnt have justice skill. do you know why he doesnt have any justice

Ok so when I have a normal human soldier become a Skirmisher Sentinal they Can't equip The Skirmisher armor or the Ripjack but when I give it to a Hybrid soldier with the Allies unknown mod it works fine (I have no idea if it works for the Vipers though)

This class doesn't detect the Spray attack from the LMG from A Better Weaponry as an attack making the Light Em' Up perk obsolete. Not a big issue as that mod is pretty outdated but you could add it to the conflicts in the description.

I have taken a break from modding (and plan to get back to it at some point) but currently, I have no future plans to make these without Proficiency as 1: it is something I don't want to do, and 2: It uses code from Proficiency Heroes in order to allow only 1 to be acquired

Thanks, Bronco. I think Not enough changes some Skirm abilities that are untouched by Prof so it works ( or I did an ini adjust) but either way, I plan to use recruitable skirmishers as well so I can get diff varieties of skirmishers. Base game fix Skirm, Prof Skirm, and this

It's a separate class. Also, Not Enough Skirmishing shouldn't work with Prof Skirmisher unless you edited the files. In the files, the hero prof classes are simply swapping out the perks. All Prof perks are their own versions, even ones that are the same mechanically.

Oh yeah, I have 20+ class mods right now (including every Proficiency class I can get my hands on). I've got Commander's Choice set to 7 classes, but the character pool's also a good idea. I'm 100 missions deep into this campaign so... hopefully I can get them before I win.

You are meant to create the character before starting the campaign (with Character pool and something like Commander's Choice), but incase you don't there is a random chance for you to acquire it due the class not being guaranteed and unable to make more with the GTS.

These classes are designed to play similar to the Proficiency Hero Classes but you don't require to unlock the faction, due to balance this factor you will only be able to have 1 of these classes at a time, they share the Proficiency Perk with the Proficiency Hero (Heatsink), they share a few core abilities from Proficiency Skirmisher, but ultimately is played completely differently than Proficiency Skirmisher.

Cool, I've downloaded them all but I'm not sure what you mean by 'Hero playstyle'. Are you talking about that Supersoldiers mod or something?

These classes are single units (like Templar Knight and Reaper Scout) that are meant to play similar to the core Hero playstyle, but different than it's base Proficiency Class Counterpart. There are only meant to be one in the entire campaign (at a time) and they specialize in a specific aspect that their core Hero doesn't. Templar Knights specialize more in Psionics and Melee Combat compared to base Proficiency Templar with all their ranged attacks being on a Cooldown, Reaper Scouts specialize more in Reconnaissance being able to see and move farther than base Proficiency Reaper but counteracted with having a Shotgun, and Skirmisher Sentinels specialize in Holding Ground compared to base Proficiency Skirmishers being Hyper-Aggressive assault units. Each class contains parts of the core Class experience, but done differently to encourage different play styles.
