Report a translation problem
I apologize for possible mistakes because I made comments through a translator, I don't understand anything in English.
New space area will add moon parts and an earth, (potentially giving possibility to more planets) and when close to celestial object, will teleport player to the normal areas (high atmosphere, surface). This could be revolutionary and provide new mechanics to the game and (instead of just flying up) it could give new challenges to the game, such as having to deal with orbits, etc.
I understand all the coding / development needed, nor does the universe revolve around me. This could possibly be a late-project addition if added, and I would not expect anything, if not anything, soon.
I'd also like to say that this mod is really awesome and I've been looking for something like this for a while.
With the moon, you're right. There is nothing else to do there apart from flying around and visiting some structures. I plan to add new resources in the future, but it takes a lot of time alone.
However, the terrain changed stuff. Lots of giant chemical impact sites from thrusters.
also, why are the tree caves lit up so much.
as for as unmanned space stuff, my first thought was sending resources baxk and forth.
my next thought amounted to a space elevator
If you want a new map, you are unfortunately forced to make a new save.
If the object has a rocket controller, it will move to the moon, whether or not there is a person inside.
If it kicks you into the skybox type /worldtp 1
This will bring you back to earth.
and yes, thats as devastating to my game and my temper as it sounds. I am literally back to a new game, but on the moon with some starting tools, some suspension, and some pistons. thats all.
As far as the lift, it IS really powerful for survival, but so are the Gattling gun and the large explosive.
Although, its ability to be placed ON itself is a bit strange, ill admit. But the ability to treat a dynamic creation as a viable spot for a lift is perfect for a space map with satelites and such, but adding a block like Fants anchor block is a decent alternative.
What that does is it orients the tech to a 90* angle of the map (like a lift) and instantly turns it from dynamic to anchored, and back. That would help with the aforementioned sattelites. If you think that needs balancing, an expensive crafting cost and/or a fuel consumption of some kind to keep it anchored are options.
I fixed the battery! My lift was too OP for survival. The map of the moon and the planet is the same. The difference is that 80% of the moon map is flat. This will change in the new update, which will be released on this week and will add a randomly generated world! The battery fix will come with a new map.
However, i see you fixed the vanilla hammer and lift being weird, but you also removed your modded lift as well. That sucks, because that was really cool.
As far as the barrier sizes, i felt that the moon map was smaller than the survival one. Am i wrong there?
