Note on mods:

SOG AI works pretty well here, and is highly recommended. "All In One Command Menu" turned out to be vital for equipping the brothers with backpacks and appropriate weapons. Use it to tell them to pick up enemy weapons, or weapons from caches that you remove and place on the ground for them. (You can tell them to re-arm too, and you may need to do so a few times in a row).

Simple Camoflage and AI Can't See Through Grass will both help and hurt you here. The Americans are damn near invisible, and the brothers are spotted pretty easily based on what they wear.

You found a way to make me feel like a piece of shit for playing a Vietnam game. Well done!

There were a few technical hiccups I noticed. First when you link up with the main group of rebels and start pushing the American base... yeah they get overrun by infinitely spawned NVA trackers pretty fast. I managed to break away, slip into the base, *spoiler*, etc. Difficult, but definitely not the epic battle that you might have meant it to be. Nobody made it anywhere near the base besides the bros. The "end mission" option at the crate failed, so I had to end it manually using Zeus. I made it home with the second brother and a truck full of weapons!

But otherwise, this was an incredibly challenging mission, and worth it for the reality-check and cut scenes alone. 10/10, would go to therapy if I were a surviving brother.

Most enemy patrols at the start of the scenario are manually placed, and randomized. There should be about 50/50 chance of an M113 appearing. Ordering your men to halt and seek cover is usually a good idea.

Are enemy patrols manually placed by you or are they randomized? It's my third restart of the mission because everytime I pick up a gun from grandpa's cache, an American M113 drives to me and kills everyone, so I have no time to at least give a backpack to every teammate.

Thank you for the kind words. Such comments makes it all worthwhile. About the ArmA3 community I think it's rather diminished at the moment. Nevertheless I find it to be a both welcomming and friendly bunch of very talented people.

First and foremost, I want to apologize to the Author of this mission. I am sorry that the entire Arma 3 community has not seen the value in such work that you constructed and produced. This is the reason why personally I hate the Arma 3 community as much as love the platform. This work of art that you created has gone unnoticed. This clearly should have a five star rating. In fact, I personally believe this should hold its place in the official S.O.G. Prairie Fire content. I am truly astonished at how such good content has gone unnoticed I am gratefully sorry for this. I just experience the cutscenes alone, and yet the historical background and story is leaps and bonds over the 5 star rated garbage we see in the workshop today...to the Author, please keep your head up and know that you are producing what should be - official content.

This is a super impressive mission. Stunning cinematics, voice acting, story unfolds as you explore. Briefing and map usage very interesting. You are an expert in your craft sir! :)
