Report a translation problem
I've experienced this same bug with the Nightsisters. I'm wondering if it's an incompatibility with something else I have installed? Unfortunately I have a 700+ mod setup and no way to diagnose the problem in a reasonably short time.

RollGroup 2 is missing its parenthesis.
I *think* I used the original Codex split ability for the Nightsister unit so if you have a mod that overrides that ability that may be where the issue is coming from.

I probably won't be changing the Rancor HP as they are intended to be peers to Sectopods. They have more health than Sectopods to account for their lack of armor. These stats can be changed pretty easily in the CharacterStats ini file though.
I did a surgical sitrep mission to escort a VIP, and there were FIVE Rancors in a squad. I was not able to really hurt any of them, and all they did was surround my soldiers, stun them and do serious damage. Then they just keep attacking even while thesoldiers of mine are stunned.
Worse this is on Commander Difficulty too.

Sorry to hear about the trouble some people are having getting this faction to appear. The suggested mods worked in my tests. Beyond that I'm not sure what to recommend. Like I say I believe NightNinja has some kind of sitrep manager mod that he put out but I don't have any experience with it myself.
Kawaiiestboi: He probably would. Iridar is pretty chill about letting other modders utilize his work. I've already started work on a different project though so I can promise if/when I'll turn back to this one.
Replace the following line in XcomGameCore.ini:

I have no idea if this mod will work with LWOTC. I have no experience with that overhaul.
So when it comes to getting playable versions of the faction bosses, you can use Dropunit console commands to drop them into tactical battles. I think I have the template names for most of the bosses in the descriptions of the mods that add them. If you’re talking about recruitable versions, that's a lot of work that I don’t really have the energy for lately.
Higher level witches have the Insanity and Schism abilities. So if you have other mods or config settings that boost the damages of those abilities the Nightwitches will benefit from that as well.
