The base image let appears a little line ... I assumed it was a headband, and it makes sense also like you said.
The Corsi aren't that famous at this era, unless slingers and light troops. I did find the result quite convincing to give them a little shining during the campaign !

Nice touch with the headband! I can imagine that's cause of them being known to be good slingers similary to the people of Balearic islands
