when this mod does get 1.6 will some of the armor get vacuum resistance?

@LunashineK9 Yeah, feel free to put it on the Workshop, with a couple of conditions. Please link to the original mod and don't change the mod ID. When I update this one, I expect you to remove your version from the Workshop but we can revisit that when the time comes. I have a lot of changes planned for this mod, so in the future I might not mind if you want to keep a "legacy" version around.

finally found a spartan but he so weak cause his shooting was 4 while melee was 2 while 1 marine in same group had 18 shooting and 2 melee and i checked the others and the marines seem to have the higher chance of having higher stats then the odst and the spartans

so is it possible for their skills to not be as random such as marines being at least level 6 or 7 while odst is at least 12 or 14 while spartans being around 17 and above

For 1.6 its completely broken, Vanilla Expanded Framework changed some of its naming conventions, the scenario needed some fixing to deal with the new Orbital layer, and a couple of other minor things.

If anyone really wants to use this before Harkon is ready to officially update it, follow the Github link up above and manually download the Forked version I made.

my recommendation make odst, and spartan armor like vac suits
where you can use them in space.

Hey I'm not sure if you're checking here for suggestions, but I would love it if you were to add vehicles. The Scorpion and Warthog (in even just the basic HMG version) would be amazing. Thanks

I think marine and army armor sets would be dope, new ODST sets and colors and spartan armor variants. Maybe even get some lore weapons involved like the M73 LMG. More guns and armor and such would be dope.

Pushed another fix to that fork, the patches for the Spartan Laser and HMG needed some fixes.

Updated the mod myself for personal use, a fork for it was added to the github. By all means use it to update the main repo if it is up to your standards, initial load and moderate testing yields no errors so far.

i saw in the comments you were planning an update. Upfront i'll say i love your mod, its one of my absolute favorites.

if youre looking for suggestions for content it would be awesome to see

vehicles: like pelicans and scorpions (i already use mods to add both) warthogs, drop pods for grav ships.

weapons: havok nuke (upscaled antigrain?), orbital strikes like archer or MAC

Armor: maybe afew more spartan variants?

buildings: rampart point defense turret, some UNSC barricades?

The mod could do with some new features, and the addition of vehicles like the wathog and pelican would be really appreciated. In addition, walls, a floor, a weapons storage box and new unsc-type barricades, as well as bags and radios, would also be nice. Can you also provide the discord link for the mode. :MCCLEGENDARY:

@guardian1368 i fixed the problem by creating a new kinddef into the code localy if you want to do it aswell before it gets officialy fixed you can head to your mods folder(mod id is 2851992615)
open defs folder then faction defs and pasted this code at the very bottom of the pawngroupmaker

got a problem with the mod using 1.5
FactionDef HALO_UNSC_Faction must have at least one pawnGroupMaker with kindDef 'Peaceful', or 'permanentEnemy', 'isPlayer' or 'hidden' should be set to true. Otherwise no guests from this faction will arrive. This is a misconfiguration in HALO - UNSC Faction.

Config error in HALO_Research_UNSC_ODSTArmor: requires no techprints but has heldByFactionCategoryTags.

can you also buff the spartan armour to be around the stats of Cataphract Armour from the royalty DLC and increase the shield cap on quality just like the shield belt

Hey all, so got a Royalty bug and a patch for it

If you try to use the included ODST Fireteam Scenario, your starting relation with the Shattered Empire from Royalty will be permanently -100. There's an included patch for this, but it only adds HALO_UNSC_Faction, while the Fireteam Scenario sets your faction name as HALO_UNSC_PlayerColony. No dev mode or faction relation mods will fix this

Go to steamapps/workshop/content/294100/2851992615/Patches, Open Royalty.xml, and directly below the line
<li>HALO_UNSC_Faction</li>
add
<li>HALO_UNSC_PlayerColony</li>
save+exit

You should now have neutral starting relations with the shattered empire when using the odst fireteam scenario

Cant seem to get guest from this faction gives a yellow error message saying it doesnt have a pawngroupmaker kindDef set to peaceful. So i assume it just doesnt have it in the files.

Running CE and the shotgun is nutty. Fires forever and at the speed of a SMG but with the normal spread and infinite range.

yo man the MA37 rifle doesn't work. I'm using CE and when my pawns have access to the correct ammo they are unable to reload it and every time they try reloading the gun I get an error.

If anyone is confused on how to research things after you get the UNSC research terminal? you have to put it next to a multi-analyzer. I'm new to the game but it took me a bit to figure this out 0-0

IIRC the UNSC research terminal is supposed to be obtainable either by purchasing one from the UNSC or as a quest reward
