The fact it feels like you can almost see the countless little windows onboard these massive warships rocks.
@paulo Dude asked for a downscale, was shown how to do it, where to do it, and had it done for him and he's still up in arms.
@paulo just play vanilla, it's clearly the only thing you'll be satisfied with and spares everyone your indignation over not being immediately served by those you view as slaves.
Is the Caldari ship models in here same as the models used in EVE Online: Chronicles ?
Chopping them in half did the trick well enough, it's pleasing to the downscaled-preferring eye and matches up against the other downscaled shipsets well enough. The general rule of downscaled mods is to do what downscaled did for vanilla - cut it in half and go from there. If something's too small just let me know, I can always rescale it (or you can rescale it yourselves)
The modder owes you nothing.
But seriously, glad to see Eve shipsets coming back. I've missed them so. I can make a downscaled version of it tonight, I'll link to it here
* Go to gfx/models/ships/caldari_01
* Open the .asset file you want to edit
* At the top you'll see an @physical_scale variable. This is what you want to change.
* Launch the game with "-debug" in launcher settings
* Start a new game and using the debug window, research all technologies (research_all_technologies), max out resources (max_resources) and enable instant build (instant_build). This'll allow you to build ships so you can edit their sizes.
* Change @physical_scale to your desired value, then, using the debug window, reload the asset file (command should be at the very top of the asset file)
