Report a translation problem
questions - down special is supposed to be a counter, but it activates without being hit, and doesnt seem to do anything differently if it is hit, whats supposed to happen?
also i looked at the transformation files for the compatibility, and while base cast has small sprites, the touhou chars are scaled up - which size should i use for my character?
Now if only the damned little Tanuki would stop slapping them out of stuns XD (joking)
I know my list of critiques was long but I only really have issues with the specials. Pretty much all her normals feel great (save for down strong it really feels useless tbh) and I love the hover in her jump. I just think her specials need some kind of overhaul.
for myself though i think i'll be buffing d-strong since there seems to be 0 reason to use it over u-strong the range just feels so bad and payoff doesn't seems worth it. also find 0 reason to use d-special over the games built in counter mechanic i could just be bad though.
still love the character though it's one of my favorite workshops the kit is nice for sure.
One is making it so you have to hold up special for a bit to teleport to a marked opponent, so you can choose to either use the mark or recover normally, to give her recovery more ambiguity, since if the opponent is marked and you need to recover, it can be very predictable
Another is making the Tanuki's attacks very slightly bigger, and making it so when Mamizou Jabs, the Tanukis attack at the same time, to give her more control over them.
However, these ideas may conflict with your vision of the character so use them if you want or not
