Yes, I've just noticed this whilst trying to see if I could make a merged version myself.
But damn that looks like a lot of manual replacing.

The section that determines which ship a hero uses is the same as the one that determines which skill tree is used

I feel dumb for overlooking this, but it's the mods that alter the hero ships.
I thought the ships and the skill trees would be separate files, but giving this conflict, I guess not?
I don't suppose a compatible version could be made? Or should I ask the other modmaker for the ships?

I've got a bigger modlist and tried a lot of combinations, turning off almost everything, can't figure out why I cannot get this to work.
The coloured skill icons mod works.
I've got ESG and it is loaded after ESG, there must be another mod that is affecting skill trees I guess?
I place this one very high up in the list and it still seems to get overwritten.
Does the load order not affect this mod?

ESG adds a third "class based" innate (HeroSkillInnateOverseer etc) to various heroes, which this mod currently reverts - any plan to forward it through?

First of all, I love the mod, makes heroes way more interesting, really feels like it should have been like this in the base game. I just noticed a minor error, the second level of the "Optimal Industrialization Expert" skill for the industrialist heroes grants +1 per pop, instead of +2, which means the second point in it is wasted.

I think the alterations that ESG makes to generic skills are interfering with the political party skill trees. Only a few heroes have them.

heroes have wrong number of masteries calculated (Wit/Labor/Command/Wanderlust). This is misleading players when picking heroes for induvial jobs.

There's example mods out there you can look at, you can also just look at how a mod works. you can change the skill tree by going into HeroDefinitions.xml

And how would one go about doing that? Cross there is my buddy, we are working on a group of heroes for our own games that we plan to post up for anyone interested. Neither of us are well versed in modding Endless Space 2 so any help you could provide to us would be great. Your mod is very fun and useful by the by.

From what i understand Reawakening breaks most mods, also it's not even actually out yet so you'll have to wait for that.

Yes it was my bad sorry. I thought all system perks are "Labour" for some reason.
Can you add the latest update to the "Compliation" mod?

Asaroenni doesn't have any labour perks, he had some in vanilla because of the standard tree which isn't in this mod.
I checked some of the others and they seemed to be fine too.
I found 3 skills with missing text (2 industrialist, 1 ecologist) and i'll release a fix.

i'm using "Mod Compliation" for ESG and i think this mod has some bugs.
Mod Order:
1) ESG 1.6
2) More Traits (soft mod-only affects faction creator)
3) Intuative GUI Colors (soft mod-don't think its incompatible)
4) Tat011 Mod Compliation
Bugs Are:
1) Most (if not all) heroes have wrong number of masteries calculated (Wit/Labor/Command/Wanderlust). This is misleading players when picking heroes for induvial jobs. Most specific example to this are "Asaroenni Dzulmaran" (it shows 0 labor but he has labor category perks.) Others are Karv Jeset, Ay seer Kado, Kinete Muldaur etc.
2) Some Political Trees have string issues where descption is like %HeroSkill05Branching... etc.
Changing mod order desn't help.

Well without the log there's no way for me to tell where the problem is, it saves itself automatically tho, just look in C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Endless Space 2\Temporary Files
