so I been looking for Disney Barracks on Woldrens Ft Knox.....

years of casually looking in game, and today I was going to link a picture and ask him where it is, buuuut fuck, I never saw this before, good shit, I'm putting it in my game right now as is lol, ill worry about mod/map issues later lol,

It's great seeing mods made by other vets. There's a lot about this game and the modding community that just simply fails to capture the essence of the Army and what it was like, not to mention that many modders don't really know exactly what Fort Knox is like aside from what they see on google maps and cursory research. Now, I was never at Knox, I was at Bliss with 1ADCAB (was a 15T), but I do have a close friend I play the game with who WAS at Knox, and according to him, your one simple map is far more accurate than the mainstream fort knox map mod.

Was there in 2008. The DSs there were not very fond of our group of prior service guys and kept us isolated from the recruits. Anyways, there was also a tank(M48 or M60?, don't remember) parked in front of that second inner left barracks on a concrete pad. If I remember right the Mini PX also had a small eating area with a few arcade machines and a pool table. I do hope you plan on expanding on this like adding the motor pool we frequented for training on the Abrams.

It's all Cadet Command now, gets used for cadet summer training. DFACs look different, dont know if they remodelled them or you simplified them and the barracks rooms layouts are all over the place because they just let you move everything when you get there lol. Mini PX the "store" section is much smaller like only 2-3 rows of those shelves, the only door in and out was the entrance, it also has the barber shop and a small generic tactical store. Don't know what happened to the dedicated barbershop building as I never went there.

If you ever feel like expanding or refining this you could include more of the area. Like the chapel, fitness center, or the theater.

I am surprised they still use them.

Was not expecting to see the barracks I stayed in over summer here.
