I don't see how this would be related, MOCX Mec Troopers and XCom MEC Troopers are completely unrelated to the best of my understanding.

After i installed this mod a MOCX MEC spawned bugged (static/invisible/with HP to kill)

ok thanks to Zelfana we found the issue. There's a typo in the MEC Trooper Redux mod that prevented it from doing this automatically. You can do it manually.
In the local mod you created, in XComGameCore.ini add:
below the header
[PlayableMECTroopers.UIChooseMec]
these three lines:
+MecClasses="AbiziMecArtillery"
+MecClasses="AbiziMecTank"
+MecClasses="AbiziMecInfiltrator"

You should create a local mod making the guide attached. In it you'll need an XComGameCore.ini file, in which you need to copy this block of text

I haven't done anything with this mod anything since its release in August 2022. If it used to work and now it doesn't then there must be another mod interfering.

My suspicion is that because MEC Trooper Redux is a newer mod, then its configs to set class correspondence to mecs overrwrites this mod's. If you're willing to experiment try switching back to the old mec trooper mod and see if the problem is solved. If it is, maybe I can help you.

Hi lordabizl im having problem with the classes, i cant choose any class anymore, i dont know if it was the last update of MEC Trooper Redux, but i cant pick any, only show me the default mec trooper and the psi mec trooper, the last campaign i didnt have any problem.

Im using your other mod, mec suits and psi mec

Yes, choosing the initial perk chooses the mec trooper class. Squadsight promoted to artillery, Fine Control to Pioneer, and Suppression to Infiltrator.

When does the option for their class come up? How do I choose? I made one Mec and he’s standard class, Heavy but I didn’t see a toggle to choose class. I just chose their initial perk - it was Squad Site, Suppression, or Closeness. Then, it just ended with them becoming a Heavy. I do not have the Spark class support mod which I know allowed you to choose different Spark classes.

@eclecticbibliophile yes, I indeed think that (True) Primary Secondaries is not a hard requirement to Ballistic shields, so you should be good to go.

Ballistic Shields requires TPS or PS. If I could get away w/o using PS for Shields, I would. The only reason I ever want those mods are these scenarios ( cool classes) but they’re too chunky.

Primary Secondaries isn't a hard requirement for Ballistic Shields anyway, you're fine without it for this

I think that Primary Secondary is a requirement for the shield, and the shield is a requirement of the Proficiency Spark mod? I'm pretty sure the shield mod works without primary secondaries/true primary secondaries?

But yes, if you don't want the Pioneer then you don't need the shield and its dependencies.

This be nice for the sparks and mecs for lw2 classes and perks with an 8th rank but I love this too as well I might have to run this next play with the other set of classes. As I was just wondering if theyre be a class set for the spark gun, flamethrower, and sniper.

Yeah, now everybody's favourite OP Spark Arsenal equipped SPARK classes can be a little more balanced as MEC Troopers :)
