Upon removing this line, for some unknown reason, the sacrificial captives still display with no issues whatsoever alongside modded resources. This was tested with the favor of the old ones as well as SFO alignments. I have not tested with both of them at the same time though.

Activating multiple rites at once does tighten the UI space a bit, but the sacrificial captives does not clip with any other resource upon my testing.

I highly recommend you apply this to your main mod so people can test it further and confirm if this is indeed an accidental "fix".

Hey cole, I did some experimenting with your mod. I may have found a fix for the issue people have with the resource UI overriding other modded resources like alignments, favors, etc.

In the sotek rite lua script there is a line of code which inserts the UI in the first place.

@Gauntlet Yeah the display of the resource is a bit of a pain in the ass. In game 2 most of them just kind of used the same UI element as the TK mortuary cult and it took a bunch of scripting to have multiple resources up there at once. In game 3 it's a lot more separated out and easier to work with in theory but in practice there's a fair bit of things that are still just using the mortuary cult ui slot. On the plus side the back end stuff is way easier to deal with so generally speaking the actual calculations for earning / spending resources will just work even if the display is janky.

Great mod, really fun. Has a small conflict with "Favor of the Old Ones" in that the resource mechanic of that mod, and specifically it's special resource "Congruence" gets hidden in the top center UI (due to sacrifices being displayed).

Everything functions though, so I'm just reporting it for anyone who wants to use both.

That is pretty easy, giving them Oxyotl's mechanics I mean. You just need to adapt the script properly and set two ui_features in the db table.
