It was wurzag, and I was playing using duke damned nations but I don't think it affects scrap upgrades too much

is it the ai from other major factions(like grimgor, azhag, Grom and co) or Ai minor factions(thoe without legandary lords)?

thats not what i wanted, i even made it so the AI Greenskins and wood elf shouldn't get these effects.
Could you be playing with a mod affecting unite "upgrades"?

thanks @Mirakulas, and yes, this will probably not be compatible with anything that uses the "augment"/"scrap upgrades" mechanic.

Cool mod, just an FYI I believe it will not be compatible with Dirty Dan's suite of Upgrade mods. I recommend both of these! This one if you are playing as Throt for sure.

Just wanted to share my findings as I spent a good deal of time troubleshooting. To be clear, this mod will make it to where the upgrades from Dirty Dan's mods (specifically vanilla units) will not be available, probably redundant if you are playing Throt with this anyway! This does not cause a crash scenario, just this mod will supersede the other.

@pilum thanks i took your advice re-downloaded WHII and checked it out. unfortunately the mod was constructed in exactly the same manner as mine and didn't offer any assistance.

I don't know what affects determine whether the mutation is displayed or not, but this mod from WH2 did something similar and i think i worked there. Maybe you could download it and see what he did. Could always be a diffrence between WH2 and WH3

Hi so I'm currently working on a mod that enables the mutations for Throt and his lords and heroes. I've got it working but there is a one bug that i was hoping you might have some insight on. The bug is in the campaign UI with not having the mutations effects show up. however the show up when you initiate a battle and do function in battle. so i was really just hoping you might know why it was bugged on the campaign screen.

did an update to include more charriots. @Myself it should work with every infantary, cav, monster and charriot you can recruit from allies. Please specify a unite name so i can look into it better

Honestly, the mutations have very little effect on anything that isn't melee. Like you can get upkeep reduction, casualty replenishment and stalk. The rest is pretty meaningless. So doesn't really matter if you let artillery get it. Same as weapons teams, it barely matters.

His mod does not effect cavallry. His mod effects artillery, even the skavens. so he lets you augment your own and others artillery.

mine is smaller because it does not try to effect unites that cant be recruited, Like other races RoRs or unites that only show up in quest Battles
