I have mine set to "csgo_legacy - legacy version of CS: GO" this lets you play CSGO if you want while also fixing the textures

This was made well before CS2 was a thing (2/3 months before it was out iirc), granted from my limited testing it seems like normal CS2 mounted onto the game seems to work fine now, im not seeing many complaints about it so ill assume its fine

well yeah i can understand it's a free game and all, i was just saying it would make more sense to just use css or cs:2 textures instead, mainly because most maps these days have used css for a long time and alot of people just buy css before playing gmod maps, or hell they just pirate the game. i was just curious as to why exactly cs:go stuff was used instead of the assets that most people have on their gmod nowadays. because honestly this is a great gmod map yall have created in my opinion, was just confused as to why cs:go stuff was used since the game is officially gone and replaced with CS:2.

To be clear, I can understand people not wanting to install because of the size; that's valid, but it's another thing to say "it's quite hard to get CSGO in the first place" when again, it's a 100% free game. Furthermore, you may be able to install the props a different way via other methods online if you really want to, not like us map makers have much of a choice

It's a free game. Are you ok, bro? Half the maps on the workshop need a paid game to work in the first place, let alone a free one. The guide even shows you how to install CSGO onto Gmod and what version you need. When we were making the map, we tried to mostly stay away from CSS props (unlike most maps), as again you have to pay to get them. Either install CSGO or "cry about it."

funny thing is it's quite hard to get cs:go in the first place so how in the hell do you expect people to get your map working properly? i feel like i'm in the dinosaur age with the quote "cry about it" being said with no context

good map one issue even with csgo installed and mounted there are still error models the textures are fixed but the models arent there

oh wow, that looks sick! Really annoying that Steam keeps screwing up on you, that sort of thing would drive me insane. Maybe the Drive link would be a good idea, with some basic instructions for people who don't know how that stuff works

@HackRazor1012 Well the map is done but its missing the last update... Steam wont let me upload the new map file and I dont know if I want to try again, I might just put a Google Drive link with the map file in it so people can just drag it into there map file, Heres what the update looked like
