Yes annotade maps still spawn, BUT...

I don't see where they come from (in lua(moddable form)), so I assume they are spawned in java and probably, it's a chance to replace annotated maps.

So...
Since maps are more rare now, annotated maps will be even more rare, but you should tweak the "Annotated Map Chance" under Meta category in the sandbox options
