@扫兴客NO2 There is only an English version as that is my only known/native language I have thought about doing different translations but don't want to mess them up with my lack of knowledge of other langues, if wanting to use because Alpine Flags this mod is recommended but not required.
扫兴客NO2 13. juli kl. 21:07
Can you come up with a Chinese version?
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 7. juli kl. 2:58
@donald.grape Yeah was an issue with puppeted Morroco is fixed and updated now, thanks for details.
donald.grape 7. juli kl. 2:53
I forgot to give more details. It only happens when you release Morocco from France as a puppet. If its created by defragmenting, the names do appear.
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 7. juli kl. 2:46
@donald.grape Must me a issue on your side just checked and they're all fine what other mods are you using if any?
donald.grape 6. juli kl. 8:23
Morocco doesn't have a name in any of the ideologies.
Zandrus 5. juli kl. 9:31
What did ya change with ya new update?
Zandrus 5. juli kl. 9:24
@Sneders Underfable

Not yet, checked it out myself.
Sneders Underfable 4. juli kl. 17:23
Is the Honduras (Republic of Ecuador) fixed?
Zandrus 30. juni kl. 7:44
@XanderWalrus

I believe it was the normal puppeting by Greece going communist, and/or Yugoslavia also went to Peasent Republics. It could be either
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 30. juni kl. 4:02
@Zandrus what was the situation for it happening was it the peasant republics path/tags or just normall puppeting them?
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 30. juni kl. 4:01
@Burleon I chose Rumania as it seemed the most commonly used for English context during and before the war therefore most fitting, although after further reading the PCGN did preference it as Romania and ofc that being the official name in Romanian so if talking officially yeah that's the correct name will update it back.
Burleon 29. juni kl. 9:44
Please change it back to ROMANIA, Rumania was unofficial in foreign countries, Romanians always called themselves Romania, the U was a mistake from the West and shouldnt be adopted, thanks
Zandrus 20. juni kl. 12:42
Found an overwrite issue, with Bulgaria being a Greek communist puppet and still called "Tsardom of Bulgaria"
meister 14. juni kl. 10:10
I was wondering, what is the graphics mod used in the 3rd and 4th screenshot?
rat trash 18. maj kl. 18:55
Suggestion: Communist CSA should not be "Union of Socialist States of Dixieland" but "Republic of New Afrika" or something in that vain. Especially since that's been the main Communist nationalist movement in the south.
kastelykiralya13 10. maj kl. 23:18
Why fascist Korea its a reublic ruled by a royal?
Camboi2020 7. maj kl. 18:16
When Germany goes liberal democratic, it becomes German Republic, despite still having the kaiser
Zandrus 7. maj kl. 10:55
Hello Xander, I have a question. The tag with the '-' is correct in other texts, except the game world map. Its a '?" for some reason. Is there a fix for this?

Or is this a broader bug that Paradox should fix?
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 13. apr. kl. 6:27
@Switching Doom Only vanilla as R56 has way too many cosmetic tags to go through and I'm more familiar with the context of vanilla cosmetic tags.
Switching Doom 12. apr. kl. 1:58
compatible with R56?
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 10. apr. kl. 3:53
@Brown Guernsey Cow
Changing Xingjiang back to Clique and adding the Provinical Government names for the cliques when puppeted by China.

For the Chinese Soviet Republic it only existed till 1937 whereas the Communist Controlled China / Soviet & Liberated Zone was used from 1937-1948 and if only one tag is present I try to prioritize the longer use ones especially when that names was used between 1939-1945, hopefully with a potential future china update PDX can add the soviet republic as a separate tag like R56.

Allies faction is one I've messed around with both League of Nations and UN I don't like as there more international organizations than a military alliance and although the UN was a name for the allies that was only after '42 similar another name I considered was the Grand Alliance but that term was only used after '41 and by Churchill which wouldn't represent any alt-history scenarios before '41 or without Churchill,
Brown Guernsey Cow 9. apr. kl. 18:46
Hey there. I'm just gonna drop a few suggestions really quick for names I think could be changed.

* Allies faction should be called the United Nations instead. That was the name historically used during WWII to refer to the alliance.

* Soviet Zone of China should be renamed to the Chinese Soviet Republic. That was the entity that the CCP in the region would have recognized.

* Xinjiang Provincial Government should probably just be called the Xinjiang Clique. From what I can tell, the KMT did not project power there in 1936, and Xinjiang was a de-facto protectorate of the USSR. Their leader was also not affiliated with the KMT government until the 40s, which is not represented in game (I don't expect you to change this detail).
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 5. apr. kl. 15:28
@Yared Updating fixing both names.
Yared 5. apr. kl. 15:18
-same with venezuela.
Yared 5. apr. kl. 15:18
@XanderWalrus thanks for the info, i was reading the desc and i typed that. Also Bolivia name should be republic of bolivia, the plurinational state of bolivia was created in the 21st century because a pro-indigenous and socialist party winned the elections
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 5. apr. kl. 15:15
@Yared The name of Vichy France in the mod is the French State.
Yared 5. apr. kl. 15:03
super peak mod, but the oficcial and formal name of vichy france was the French State(État français)
Zandrus 25. mar. kl. 5:33
Nice. I'll keep my eye out for other tags that might be missing if they are formables, etc
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 24. mar. kl. 15:59
@Zandrus Also fixed Peru spelling mistake and the tag "Mughal India" that seems off as there's no localization for that present it should just be the normal UK unless talking about the Raj which I guess maybe a broken cosmetic tag?
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 24. mar. kl. 15:57
@Zandrus I added Assyrian Empire left it out initially as I didn't see it requiring alternate names at the time but since added some slightly altered ones.
Silk Road was missing due to it Pdx cutting from the game prior to the DLC's release due to inaccuracy/memeness.
Also Muhgal Britain is not present same with flags cause even with all the memeness of Hoi4's DLC it's one I couldn't find even a salt worth of justification for adding so just left it to be normal Britain, also kinda fitting with how buggy and lackluster it is in game anyway.
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 22. mar. kl. 3:03
@BR Wilhelm Fixed.
BR Wilhelm 21. mar. kl. 17:40
Guangxi Clique is "Guangxi clique"
Zandrus 8. mar. kl. 12:41
I also noted the Assyrian Empire formable and Silk Road is missing
Zandrus 8. mar. kl. 10:37
Hey Xander, I found one and two oversights.

One is that the Peru Bolivian Confederation name doesn't show up once you unite Peru and Bolivia, its still seen as the Republic of Peru.

The other is Mughal West Britain Company, which without its tag, becomes "Mughal India".
Zandrus 5. mar. kl. 17:20
I wish you a nice and through country name adding, friend. I will update mine accordingly.
Agent Green 51 23. feb. kl. 4:27
Ty, it appears the English spelling "Romania" was adopted after WW2, sources I've read have claimed the change occurred around 1960/1970. Reminds me of similar changes to the English language such as the discontinued use of "ae".
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 22. feb. kl. 16:20
@Agent Green 51 During WW2 the English name was "Rumania" deriving from Roumanie there are various languages that still keep the "u" within the name for similar reasons, but the main reason I kept it in was to keep it aligned with HOI4's settings as it during most of the games time span it would've been referred to as with the "u", there are various sources saying when it was changed but most point to some point around the late 40's after the war with the regime change.
Agent Green 51 22. feb. kl. 15:00
Romania is spelled as "Rumania" is this intentional?
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 19. feb. kl. 6:47
@Tinu2048 Just updated fixing typo
Tinu2048 19. feb. kl. 6:30
Communist Libya has a typo
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 17. jan. kl. 15:33
@Explodyman Lithuania and other formable nations prioritize their official state/constitutional names rather than the base Hoi4 "Greater Name" as alot of them lack any significant context like Lithuania/Voldemarininkai and even for alot of those that do such as Italy had other official names more fitting and where actually used.
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 17. jan. kl. 15:26
@➹La Harrissa❦ Both Democratic Germany and Japan when independent will have the previous Empire and Reich names are both where used during their democratic regimes during the interwar period if East/West Germany is released or if either are puppeted by another nation they will use their Republic/State names.
Explodyman 12. jan. kl. 14:32
when i have the greater lithuania cosmetic tag, no name change happens, only color change.
La Harrissa 6. jan. kl. 7:37
Hi I have a problem where Germany or Japan's names doesn't change after ww2, despite them being democratic. They're still named 'German Reich' or 'Empire of Japan'. Is this only happening to me ?
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 3. dec. 2024 kl. 11:23
@Doomtoham The Imperial names are simply "German Reich" as that was the official constitutional name of Germany.
Doomtoham 3. dec. 2024 kl. 9:50
Does this make it "Deutsches Kaisereich" instead of German Kaiserreich?
Kiwie 16. nov. 2024 kl. 6:59
@XanderWalrus Thanks for responding! <3
XanderWalrus  [ophavsmand] 16. nov. 2024 kl. 5:58
@Kiwie Yeah sorry there was a bug with the localization files I discovered the same when playtesting I did update afterwards but will update again now to be sure it's fixed
Kiwie 15. nov. 2024 kl. 17:58
@XanderWalrus when I create reichskommissariats, they do not have a name at all. Is that this mod causing it?
