Then from Top Bar, generate depency cach... takes a few minutes.

But then, that's it, RPFM is ready to use

Oh also install FROM STEAM, the WH3 assembly data kit TOOL, think RPFM needs it, I think.

Then follow this pages instructions!

I really love your Mod! I just tried to use it together with the Necromancer Mod and it dosent causes any Problems buuuuuut even though the new Units get the Leadership-Buff as long the Lord is alive they dont get the DMG-Debuf after his death.. :steamsad:

I wanted to fix this like you said within the desciption but im pretty new to this.. could you gimme some more advise? What Program are you using for it? :steamhappy:

I mean this mod doesn't make any power changes to any units, the lords are just much more pivotal. You have to protect them more. It's a risk but the reward is none crumbling, none weakening units. Some change of approach to battles is intended, not a side effect.

finally came around to playing tith the counts, so i could test it properly. it feels incredebly loreful, i love it. i got one gripe though, the necromancer lord (on a cart) is just not viable anymore, 3 crossbowman killed him so fast i couldnt even cast nehek. something nice would be an lesser version with a range for vampire and necromancer heroes as they try to hold the army together. would still punish you immensively, as threre would be no way to flank anymore, but it would give you the chance to salvage some units by scrapping really hard.

Yeah, okay, sorry to have missed that. The gameplay experience is awesome, ambushing a necromancer and wiping out his whole army by quickly taking him out, a desperate duel against a vampire while your forces hold back his massive horde of undead...

Only issue is settlement battles. Large settlements full of unbreakable untireable undead are impossible if you can´t find and kill the designated pseudo lord unit, which the AI might just choose to hide

Alternatively on field settlement battles, finding and killing the pseudo lord and wiping out the full army is hilariously easy.

Overall Good job shame I have to choose between this or the necromancy mod.

My apologies. The warning about the outdated version remained, but the mod turned out to be working. I forgot that invincibility appears only at the beginning of the battle and there is no way to see it in advance.

To disable the fog aura, download rusted packfile manager and open it up. then go to steam folder - steam apps - workshop - content, and find the folder that has Popculture_Necromancy.pack. drag that file into rusted packfile manager then navigate to popculture_necromancy under special_ability_phases_tables. scroll over to the right until you see Phase Display and delete the wh_main_spell_vampires_curse_of_years entries, then save.

im no expert in modding wh3, but that seems to have worked for me.

More than likely if you dig around in Rusted Pack File Manager it's just one table entry IIRC. I however uninstalled TW:W3 around the SoC debacle so can't help further than that, sorry!

I've read the comment here. I hope you have a great Christmas. Something nice to have would be a submod for the Dread King Legions. I just recruited him with Nagash, I have all the available submods necessary but he doesn't benefit from the mod.

If you want to open it up in rusted packfile manager, it's literally just a check box, or one field you have to modify.

Possibly with enough custom skills...
But the way I see army losses is the general realises he no longer has enough troops left to win the fight and loses his grip.

Also balance wise it gives the opposition the chance to actually win the fight if they can't get to the undead lord - flying/hiding in forest/toofast etc, otherwise avoiding combat with the lord would just guarantee the win as undead.

I do love this mod. adds a much higher risk reward aspect with your lords while making your undead feel more like that uncaring uncompromising tide. My only complaint is army losses.I like that the lords don't get the buffs, but when you hit army losses it instantly crumbles your lord and all remaining units fall soon after which kinda feels against the theme of the mod. idk if there's any way to remove it, but that's really my only complaint.

All in all though, well done dude.

Legendary Necromancy is the correct affect for LL's, (ascendant for normal) so it sounds right, You don't actually say what's wrong/what the problem is... Happy to help if you want to expand more on the issue. CA did change some things since I wrote the brief guide, not sure if it affected it. Don't need to add dependencies or anything though. For a submod just add the land unit in the "land_units_to_unit_abilites_junctions_tables" table. Naming the table correctly (alphabetically) so it loads after the main popculcture mod. Download the nagash submod for an example, simple enough :)

So, I need to make sure I did this correctly... I made a Submod for "Skeleton King Krell" to add the popculture effect to him. It shows up in game as "legendary Necromancy." I'm assuming I did something wrong, following your instructions in description. I looked at the "Necromancy submod" for this, and it looks like there's a dependency with popculture, that I've got no clue on how to add. My goal is to upload this when I have it done correctly.

Found a Mod that's not compatible. For anyone that may be wondering as to why some Vampire Count Lords don't have the "Ascendent Necromancy" passive, make you don't have "Lively Ghouls + Necro's" enabled. It messes with Ghorst and Kemmlar, which then removes the passive from this. Thought I'd let everyone know, just in case.

As a player vs AI, I already think it's too easy, debating giving the lord +ward save tbh.

And playing as undead I'm protecting mt lord and avoiding committing to losing situations, plus lords generally crumble anyhoo at low leadership...

Annoying as I had all 3 of his varients in at one time, and the lords from the other mods, but they simply disappeared between 1 update or the other.

Just a heads up, @Neil, Dieter Helsnicht on the manticore mount from Mixu's Legendary lords is missing the legendary lord effect, so he doesn't make units unbreakable or gives them perfect vigor
