Yeah the fixed mod was part of TWToTWT mods who either moved on something happened to their account recently, meaning everything is either gone or privated.

Decided to come back to WH3 and remember this mod fondly for enabling Wood Elves to take on stacks of enemy armies and being super thematic, Sad to see it hasnt been updated.

I'm encountering an issue where the spellsinger as soon as it has the eagle mount unlocked, starts the battle grounded and can't take off from the ground once on the battlefield, also misses the fly/land toggle button. This happens also with just this mod installed, so perhaps this is due to the mod perhaps somewhat based on a WH2 variant, that didn't include the landing feature for fliers?

Dope mod but my one criticism is I think you should call it by its other name aka Lore of Fey Magic to better match the other elf magic lores aka Dark and High.

This looks pretty cool. What would you think of a spell to summon actual forest, or one to summon a unit of dryads/treekin/treeman (maybe for increasing WoM) when cast on forest? 👉👈 Sounds like it might be a lot of work on the technical side of things though.

@Drakyrie, sadly I've just started learning db and rpfm a few weeks ago and only know how to do basic things. Thanks for the response, I understand, it looks really good zoomed out as of current, however when zoomed in it looks extremely odd, but yes I was mostly referring to casts on horizontal inclinations.

@Zekerath - Thanks for the report. This isn't intended and when I next have free time I will try and fix it so it meets the standard of the other lores.

@Count Spookula - I am glad you are liking the tree singing spell mechanic. I am aware there can be some issues when casting the spell on hills, because it essentially uses trees as projectiles to create the effect of a grove (essentially arrows left on the battle field).
If this isn't the issue could you describe how the spell looks for you, I can only test it on my own machine and it looks how it does in the screenshot on this mod, does it look different for you? If it looks the same, unfortunately all I can tell you is that I am not artistically inclined so I think I am at the limit of what I can manage.
I do have one idea of how to improve it but it requires me to learn how to rotate the in game tree model (which I havn't figured out how to do so if anyone knows and is reading this please help me!)

Tree Singing despite being my favourite spell looks incredibly glitchy regarding it's visuals, is there any chance the animations/VFX will ever be revisited?

I'm not sure if this is part of this mod, or the addon, but I noticed that with Malevolent Ancient Treemen, MAT (the lord types Drycha can recruit) of lore of Athel Loren, they need to put more skill points in their spells than regular spellcaster lord. Generally, lords only ever need to put up to two skill points into a spell, one to unlock the spell and its upcasted version, and other for cooldown and winds of magic cost reduction, compared to heroes, who usually need up to three skill points to put into a spell, aside from the starting spell. But at least the MATs seemingly have the same skill point requirement as hero types. Haven't tested with other lord types, just trying out the mod with Drycha and having a blast.

Another thing I noticed that in your designer notes, you say glamourweaving only lasts 10 seconds, but to me the tooltip says it has infinite duration. So not sure if that's a tooltip error or something else.

Thanks for the report. It was due to a change in how blessing of the ancient works between TWWH2 and TWWH3 that I missed. I have updated the mod that should hopefully return it to standard amounts.

Found a potential bug on your mod. The blessing of the ancients buff that spellsingers have gives +15 magic reserves per second while on a forest, essentially maxing out the reserves if you touch a forest. Is this intended?

I updated the addon for 2.3.

- Updated to the new porthole style
- Added the new Mentor trait the new spellcasters
- Added a unique Athel Loren trait to Malevolent Branchwraiths and Ancient Treeman to replace the other lore specific traits

Speaking of which: Might it be possible to tweak some stuff to make this mod have better synergy with Mixu's legendary lords mod, and specifically Naieth the Prophetess, who has a heavily magic-oriented playstyle, but can't properly benefit from the Lore of Athel Loren stuff right now?

@net neutrality - yes it spawns a forest like in the picture. It does this using projectiles so it maybe a low graphic option that is hiding it for you, or you might have foliage turned off.

@mmi.05 - I unfortunately don't know Lizardman lore as well and I don't know if that was ever a lore in the army books was it?

This mod was EXCELLENT in WH2, happy to see it back.
IIRC, it was balanced and fair in every aspect apart from the ammunition replenishment from Ariel's blessing being rather OP.
