@jptenn nope. This mod only changes changes the armor of tournament participants, not the weapons.

Any reason within this mod to cause arena fighters to spawn unarmed or with a missile weapon but no sword or mace?

Found a work around.
Went into the options, change the tier armor, and then changed it back, now its working.
And no, I'm using multiple mods, but now its fixed. Try this @Razor

@Beef Stew the balanced armor was not intended to affect practice fights, and it was reported as a bug in the previous version and has been fixed.

Side note, after the last update, the "balanced armor" no longer affects the arena practice fights, whereas before it did.

If intentional, OK. If not, would it be hard to re-implement?

Hii, great mod! Unfortunately I got a crash because of it after the update from 16/01. After I removed it and tried to launch the game again it worked perfectly, so it definitely has something to do with this version of the mod. My game crashed during the loading of a saved game.
